Here we are in Day 366 of Humanity Rising featuring Carroy Ferguson and associates.

11:07:33 From Michael Burns to Everyone:

   Judy, try reboot?

11:09:02 From Judy Hanmer to Everyone:

Have done and now have sound.  Thanks.

11:19:40 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:

   Let's all clap along!!!

11:20:05 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:

   clapping and moving!

11:20:28 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:

Sole or Soul?? Ha! Let's get together with each other!

11:20:31 From Michael Burns to Everyone:

   smiling at least

11:21:29 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:

My soles are bare as we bare our souls!

11:22:06 From Jane Norton to Everyone:

love it! got up and danced!

11:27:24 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Host and Panelists:

Cut, I relate to your diagram with a concept that I call the radius of caring. How far does one's care extend?

11:36:12 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@Dr. Scott- What a beautiful ritual and connection to the Earth. Do you still practice those gifts your "Papa" taught you?

11:37:46 From Stanley Pokras to Host and Panelists:

Rick, Thank you for setting me up!

11:39:45 From Stanley Pokras to Host and Panelists:

Is there a reason that the default view is "speaker"? It used to be that if I set my view to Gallery, it would stay there. Now as each person starts speaking the Speaker view takes over.

11:41:03 From Richard Buckley to Stanley Pokras(Direct Message):

I am spotlighting people which limits the gallery view at you end.

11:43:08 From Stanley Pokras to Richard Buckley(Direct Message):

That's ok, but I've yet to understand what spotlighting is all about. Thank you for explaining what's happening. It's not a problem. Just different.

11:46:33 From Richard Buckley to Stanley Pokras(Direct Message):

It controls who is seen on the broadcast and more importantly  the recording being made.

11:53:33 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@Dr. Scott-Please state briefly the symbol of the Panther.

11:55:03 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:

I just cringe when I think about what black boys must see and find their own path away from in the public space…. so sad!

11:59:35 From Stanley Pokras to Everyone:

How the Net destroyed democracy | Lawrence Lessig | TEDxBerlinSalon

A very insightful TED Talk on the media and society over time.

The presenter explores "What we know (and believe)" as opposed to "What we want," as the media changed from thousands of local newspapers in the 19th century, through broadcast media where we had essentially three TV networks in the 20th century, to Now where there are once again thousands of news and opinion sources.

12:00:52 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

   Believe according to who?

12:01:25 From Stanley Pokras to Everyone:

12:01:29 From Lesley Horner to Host and Panelists:

Thank you. I have to go now, sorry

12:02:07 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@ Kathryn-I think/sense what is missing, cross-culturally, is the essence of "Tribe" and the rich skills, communion, leadership and connectedness  of belonging.

12:04:29 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:

Larry, what I was seeing was the power of the black community, something harder to come by for whites. A community that could provide an alternative.

12:05:15 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

Yeah I’ve been excluded by the white society my who adult life

12:05:24 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

   Whole

12:05:49 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

12:06:08 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:

I have to go, so sad, this is so good!

12:06:36 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@Mr. Marlow- Your speaking and storytelling is beautiful in cadence and vision creating

12:07:26 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

   My family were very jndidualistic

12:07:56 From Dr. Joyce Hope Scott to Host and Panelists:

The panther is really a mutation of the leopard, so those Dahomean Kings are really referred to as “The Leopard Kings.” Their mythological origins re from the panther (Agasu) who seduced a princess and began the line of Leopard/Panther Kings.  So all of the kings have the image of the panther on their sceptres.

12:10:15 From Stanley Pokras to Everyone:

Ronald, I appreciate your talk and your recognition that not all the smart, thinking people need a Dr. in front of their name.

12:31:11 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:

Let me also raise a particular hope.  Here in the Minnesota Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul,  we have people from the Ethiopian diaspora, including folks from different groups who are now in conflict in Africa.  How can this diaspora community be part of conflict transformation, instead of feeding into the killing?

12:32:10 From AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Everyone:

Can peace promotion be the image of manhood, rather than fighting?

12:32:13 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

   Take a violent heart?

12:32:38 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

I do that with eco side

12:33:43 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@Dr. Kamara, you created a very precise image of a definition of "Becoming Black" on the soil of the U.S., and that difference being generated, in part, based on color.  were there differences in your native country and how were those differences defined and hopefully worked out?  Thanks very much .

12:33:51 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

It’s harder with the wider communities but unconditional love is our birth right

12:34:58 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

Do we all have unique souls?

12:39:42 From Helen Wrigglesworth to Host and Panelists:

   This is great for selfhood

12:40:11 From Larry Cashion to Everyone:

@Dr. Ferguson, Forgiveness was a theme is yesterdays discussion.  You have just not only validated that significance and the place of self in relation to other in it, you have profoundly brought the power of forgiveness full circle and the potency of healing it can produce. Thank you sir.

Another profound program. Thanks to all who participated. Rich content to be revisited.

Just one thing niggling my heart/mind - Is there a similar panel planned to discuss the indigenous male experience in this country. Such wisdom has been held over the ages by the first peoples and their voice of the warriors should be heard.
