I have had animals in my life since I was a child. Including dogs. It has felt like the same spirit has come back when, along the way, a dog dies and another comes into my life, often in an unplanned way. The relationship with the new dog seems to continue a long term pattern. Feels like a soul mate traveling with me.

My Bernese Mountain dog Sakari taught my son and I wonderful lessons for her transition. Our final day was full of sweetness, stuffed animals, aromatherapy and lots of stories. Why can’t we do with with humans?
