There is no original sin in Judaism. Listen to the California lecture by John Phillip Newell where he tells the story of being in a conference with a rabbi, and the audience asks the question about what original sin means in each religion. I will try and find a link. The rabbi says that original sin would mean a sin that was really creative.

Jim - Are you aware of the horrific wars Native Americans engaged in between tribes long before the white man came to Turtle Island? That’s why the Great Peacemaker came to the tribes of the Iroquois who had been warring for generations and brought The Great Law - and they formed the Iroquois Confederacy and became the most powerful military force in the North East.
Aspects of the Great Law became part of the US Constitution. And look what the US has done with the high vision of its origin.
All races have their shadow. We must acknowledge that shadow without shame and blame as we move from lower frequencies of fear, separation and scarcity that affected all races and cultures to the higher vibration of the open heart for going forward together to Peace on Earth. ❤️🌀🕊️

There are 2 entirely separate creation stories in the first 2 pages of Genesis. They come from 2 separate sources. One of the stories is the 7 days of creation story. The second story is the one that Jim is telling us -- the Adam and Eve story.
