😫 As JIM said Puin said, this was the Big Violation, crossing the Rubicon- At the end of WWII the peace was achieved by treaties that NATO and the Allies military would not go East into the old Russian province. This is what started the Cuban Missile Crisis - US violating agreements and putting weapons in Hungary, which Russia responded to by shipping missiles to Cuba. The resolution to that was us agreeing to withdraw our missiles and they would withdraw theirs.

In the last 4 Christmases, I have prayed and preached for a Christmas miracle by two men who claim to be Christian, Biden and Putin. They could sign the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons — assuring them of a Nobel Prize and honored legacy. Their signatures would put a ratification discussion in process — and the public could weigh in on the decision. The truth is, of course, that nobody wins with nukes.
