Humanity must take immediate and global action to preserve the 850 still existing bioregions of our planet. This is a Call to Action for everyone.

“Earth is our mother and giver of all things to all people. The right relationship with her is basic and essential to the health and well-being of all people. We need nature and nature needs half.” Julie Cajune, Salish Educator

There are approximately 850 bioregions providing habitat for all of Earth’s biodiversity. The sixth mass extinction can be stopped by protecting and interconnecting nature in approximately 50% of each of these regions.

We know that saving nature and ending the biodiversity crisis will help protect humanity. Contemporary science and traditional wisdom tell us that to achieve this we must protect 50% of the planet by 2030.

  • George Cappannelli and Tom Eddington, Conveners, will help us understand what is next for endangered species, ecosystems, and Humanity.

Co-convener:

  • Jim Garrison, President, Ubiquity University
