Brent Rushforth graduated from Stanford University and the law school at the University of California at Berkeley. He is the co-founder of the Center for Law in the Public Interest where he tried cases preventing oil drilling off Santa Monica’s beaches and the construction of a massive coal fired plant in the middle of Zions, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef and the Grand Canyon National Parks.
