Mel Landers studied environmental biology, crop science, soil science, paleo-climatology and indigenous agricultural systems. He teaches the ancient Indigenous American Agroforestry system promoted by the IPCC as the technology needed to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change. His understanding of both natural and damaged ecosystems, coupled with an indigenous world view give him a unique perspective on the problems faced by the world today. They are also helping him formulate realistic, matter of fact solutions for reducing the damage been done to earth systems.
