Marina Cantacuzino, founder of the Forgiveness Project and award winning journalist and author, talks about her recent trip to Rwanda and her work with storytelling as a vehicle for forgiveness and healing.
Marina is an author, broadcaster, podcaster and peace activist. In 2004, after working for 15 years as a journalist, and in response to the invasion of Iraq, she founded The Forgiveness Project, a UK-based charity that works with personal narratives in order to help people break cycles of harm and create a more compassionate world. Since then she has co-created The Forgiveness Toolbox, produced and hosted The F Word Podcast and in 2024 her second BBC series Forgiveness: Stories from the Frontline was aired on Radio 4. The most recent of Marina’s three books on the subject of forgiveness, Forgiveness: An Exploration was published by Simon & Schuster in 2022.
Olivier Clerc shares insights on forgiveness and healing, and he talks about the power of asking to be forgiven. This is the subject of his books, The Gift of Forgiveness and Healing the Wounds of the Heart, and forms the basis of Circles of Forgiveness which he created and which are being held in over 250 places worldwide.
Olivier Clerc is an author of Swiss origin. He works as an international lecturer and workshop-
leader in the areas of spiritual transformation and forgiveness. He is the author of 25 books,
with translations in seventeen languages. Olivier has crossed paths with many leading authors,
whose books he has translated into French, and with whom he trained. Among them are Dan
Millman, Marshall Rosenberg, Byron Katie, Don Miguel Ruiz, Dr Stanislav Grof, Dr Deepak
Chopra, Marianne Willamson, Dr Bernie Siegel, and many others. He is also the creator of
Circles of Forgiveness, based on his life-changing experience in Mexico with Don Miguel Ruiz, in 1999. There are now over 250 of them in 15 countries.
