In Renn Butler's 2023 presentation for Humanity Rising, he looked at Stan Grof’s article about the Mayan prophecies around 2012 and Stan’s suggestion that the experience of death and rebirth of that time was not a one-day or one-year event but is a process spanning many decades on both sides of the exact alignment. In this session, Renn will look back at previous conjunctions, squares, and oppositions of the winter solstice sun with the galactic equator going back 100,000 years and their dramatic correlations with periods of accelerated cultural and technological development, important archaeological milestones, and evolutionary junctures in the history of Homo sapiens.
Renn Butler, PhD, draws from his extensive experience as a Holotropic Breathwork facilitator to explain the correlation between the 4 Basic Perinatal Matrices and the archetypes associated with each matrix. His research, based on over three decades of archetypal-astrology consultations and Holotropic Breathwork workshops, as well as thirty-five years of Jungian-Grofian dreamwork, gives him a perspective into the inner experience of the planetary transits.
