George and Sedena Cappannelli are Co-founders of AgeNation and Empower New Mexico. They are also authors of Do Not Go Quietly, winner of 9 national book awards including the prestigious Gold Nautilus Award, Co-Producers of the 40 Episode award-winning The Ageless Living Television Series still airing on PBS Stations around the country as well as on Amazon Prime and Tubi and leading experts on the implications of The Demographic Revolution will see 50% of the populations of the US and the majority of industrialized countries the world 50 and older at ths same time for the first time in history – making aging another of the Code Red Issues of out time
George and Sedena will also speak to their new initiative – Celebrating2023, a global, non-profit initiative designed to bring an infusion of hope, renewal and life-enhancing strategies to “people who weren’t born yesterday” and young people who are now inheriting the future who have been significantly impacted by the isolation and reduction in basic services resulting from Covid, and other challenges in our time. These systemic challenges have resulted in dramatic increase in depression, alcohol and drug addiction and suicide among both segments of our population.
George and Sedena Cappannelli are award-winning authors, experts on individual, organizational and societal change and internationally known consultants and coaches who have worked with thousands of people in the general public and hundreds of the country’s leading organizations in both the private and public sectors including Boeing, NASA, Sun Micro Systems, The Disney Company, PepsiCo, The LA Times, The U.S. Navy and many others.
They are co – Authors of 5 books including Do Not Go Quietly, Say Yes to Change, Authenticity, The Best is Yet To Be and Getting Unstuck; Co-Founders of AgeNation, a company that has offered education, engagement, inspiration and solutions “for people who weren’t born yesterday” since 2009 and Empower New Mexico, a 501C3 that supports people and organizations serving vulnerable sections of our aging population; Telly Award Winning Co-Producers of 40 Episode Ageless Living Television Series that has been airing in PBS markets across the country since January 2020 and is now available on Amazon Prime, TUBI and in local libraries across the country. They have also co-hosted two regionally syndicated radio programs and podcasts – AgeNation Radio Magazine and Conversations with the Wisdom Keepers
George is also an Emmy winning Producer/Director and award-winning sculptor. Sedena has produced theatrical productions n and acted in a number of films, television series include a year on Star Trek, the second generation.Together they are committed to creating an age friendly society, revitalizing and invigorating life for the 150 million+ Americans who will soon be 50 or older.
