Since 1900, species have been lost at a rate of over 1,000 times higher than the background extinction rate; and it is increasing resulting in an estimated 1,000,000 million species on the endangered species list of the estimated 8,000,000 million known species. The average concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is 421 parts per million (May 2022). This is up 50% since the start of the Industrial Revolution; up from 280 ppm during the 10,000 years prior to the mid 18th century. This week’s two day ENDANGERED series is focused on celebrating the actions being taken by a few leaders in an attempt to ensure Humanity, other species and the Earth survives this current mass extinction.
- Tom Eddington, Moderator, is an author, Executive Coach, Business Advisor, and Executive Producer of documentary films. He holds an M.S. in Organization Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. As a scholar of Conscious Leadership, he is passionate about bringing more conscious leadership into the world which he does through his coaching and advisory work, film and media projects and Board positions. As CEO of Endangered.global he brings his commitment and experience to impacting climate change and biodiversity loss.

- Peter Fiekowsky, author, business and climate leader. Peter is committed to leaving a world we're proud of for our children. He is the Founder of global initiatives for climate restoration: Foundation for Climate Restoration, Methane Action (in process), Healthy Climate Alliance. Founder and president of Automated Visual Inspection. Peter's companies and organizations are carefully designed and long-lived. AVI LLC has been thriving for 37 years. the Healthy Climate Alliance continues to grow six years after launching, and has spun off several more specialized groups. He is an MIT-trained physicist with 27 patents advancing the field of machine vision and semiconductor manufacturing.
- John Perkins was Chief Economist at a major consulting firm and an advisor to the World Bank, UN, IMF, Fortune 500 corporations, and leaders of countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and US government agencies. His ten books, including Confessions of an Economic Hit Man and Shapeshifting spent over 70 weeks on New York Times bestseller list, are published in more than 35 languages, and sold over 2 million copies. He has lectured at more than 50 universities; been featured on ABC, NBC, CNN, Time, The New York Times, Elle, Der Spiegel, and many others. He is a co-founder of the nonprofits Dream Change and the Pachamama Alliance.
