“We are facing nothing less than the collapse of the living world….to restore stability to our planet, we must restore biodiversity.” -David Attenbough, A Life On Our Planet

Ecosystems are interconnected webs of biodiversity and essential for life. When a species is endangered, the world literally starts to fall apart. Alarmingly, we are at a crucial point-68% of the planet’s wildlife population has been lost in 50 years. There are currently one million species on the endangered species list. Restoring these species and removing them from the endangered species list is critical to restoring stability to the ecosystems they inhabit and to the planet.

Moderator/Conveners:

Dr. Sylvia Earle, Dr. Gary Shapiro and Alex Cornelissen will help us understand what is happening. They have been on the forefront of species and habitat protection and restoration globally for decades.

Dr. Laurie Marker.
