As a master mediator, Kenneth Cloke is adept at bridging deep divides. He will guide us on how to avoid being part of the polarization that is occurring in our society as well as our communities and families, and how to repair relationships that have been ruptured.
Christy Heacock is a forgiveness educator with expertise in civil discourse. Drawing on her experience with world religions and wisdom traditions, she will talk about how to achieve respectful communication and understanding across different perspectives and cultures.

Bios
Kenneth Cloke is a mediator, facilitator, arbitrator, coach, and trainer specializing in communication, dialogue, collaborative negotiation, consensus building, and designing preventative conflict resolution systems. He is the author of numerous books including most recently, The Magic of Mediation. He has worked in conflict resolution for over 40 years in over 20 countries, published 20 books on conflict resolution, was founder and first President of Mediators Beyond Borders International. He led a delegation of mediators to the United Nations and to the Copenhagen climate change conference, and teaches conflict resolution globally.
Dr. Christy Heacock is a forgiveness educator, coach, writer, and author of the highly-acclaimed book Being Human Is Hard: Choose Forgiveness. For her PhD dissertation in psychology she studied forgiveness in adults with different sacred belief systems. Chris was program coordinator for the Rapid City Area School's Civil Discourse Project, and worked on projects that aided students in respectful communication, critical thinking, and understanding different perspectives and cultures. She developed and taught a World Religions, Wisdom Traditions Course, as well as a Civil Discourse and Critical Thinking Course for educators, and served as a Respecting Ethnic and Cultural Heritage (REACH trainer). Chris is available for presentations in person and on Zoom, as well as for forgiveness coaching and study groups.
