Richard Flyer will discuss how a new “Symbiotic Culture” is emerging practically from within what he calls today's Culture of Separation. Symbiotic Cultures are not about fighting, reforming, or replacing the current system. It’s about activating and connecting the healthy, functional forces inside the system to emerge above and beyond their silos to cooperate and collaborate to “connect the good” in their community — a new Network Commons. It’s an organic, whole-system approach that builds interwoven ecosystem networks of parallel culture, society, economy, and politics.

Richard Flyer, author of Birthing the Symbiotic Age: An Ancient Blueprint for a New Creation (2024), synthesizes his learnings from five decades of experiments and explorations across different nations, wisdom traditions, and organizational structures, seeking a shift from a Culture of Separation to a Culture of Connection. He is a pioneer in the integration of embodied spirituality with the building of community-based ecosystem networks. Through the Symbiotic Culture Movement, his goal is to activate 50,000 micro-bioregional villages, towns, and cities as community networks by 2033.
