From: Rachel Root (11:38 AM) @Bruce will ck it out. Not sure of UN’s effectiveness

From: Shannon McArthur (11:39 AM) we have been taught by dystopian movies to expect this societal turmoil - and it gives “permission” for bad behaviour - we need better stories to adhere to!

From: Diane Skidmore (11:39 AM) Hello Yasmina :-D and thank you xxxxx

From: Kurt Krueger (11:39 AM) This should resonate with you and the extreme value of the Feminine. SACRED INSTRUCTIONS, bY Sherri Mitchell. From: Shannon McArthur (11:43 AM) I HEAR THAT!!

From: Diane Skidmore (11:43 AM) Daniela - Yes, it IS possible. Like you say - maybe harsh to begin but- we just gotta do it!!! As soon as possilble!!1

From: Diane Skidmore (11:46 AM) Radical collaborations on every level - young and old; all cultures; scientific AND spiritual - all together!!! And ooooooh yes, look for the positives first!!

From: Bruce Schuman (11:47 AM) For CHAT PEOPLE -- I feel like writing a little "proposal" for you guys on how we could do this together....

From: Shannon McArthur (11:47 AM) Please do, Bruce!!

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:47 AM) @Bruce - go for it!

From: Valerie A. Luzadis (11:47 AM) Count me in!

From: Diane Skidmore (11:47 AM) do it Bruce - ready for tonight?

From: Shannon McArthur (11:47 AM) today!

From: Kurt Krueger (11:47 AM) Bruce, we’re in. : From: Malini Rajendran (11:47 AM) evidence based science has been proven to be very limited. just because science does not have a vocabulary or the instruments to measure many phenomena , it dosent mean those phenomena dont exist.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:47 AM) It is by crossing boundaries that we get real innovation and real interdependence

From: Teo John (11:48 AM) @Bradley, is there a website for Nusa knowledge exchange ? In what capacity could we contribute towards your work in Bali ?

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (11:48 AM) Yes, service of society.

From: Rachel Root (11:48 AM) @Bruce I wonder if we can use existing structures or if we must create something new?

From: Shannon McArthur (11:48 AM) science is for us to learn about a holistic system that works - and how to fix it once we break it.

From: Liliane Mavridara (11:48 AM) @Teo, put your question in the Q&A

From: Bruce Schuman (11:48 AM) CHAT PEOPLE I can write it in 10 minutes -- so I will be ten minutes late for the meeting!! (something like that From: Liliane Mavridara (11:49 AM) @Bruce, please email it to me via Ubiverse, would love to see it. thank you.

From: Shannon McArthur (11:49 AM) It is time to spread the power - and each take up their own.

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (11:49 AM) The question needs to be sacred and respectful

From: Kurt Krueger (11:49 AM) The Iroquois Nation had one elected by the women!

From: Shannon McArthur (11:50 AM) benevolent and wise - a circle of elder women

From: Kurt Krueger (11:50 AM) Living Values: The first two Values instructed are Love and Peace. All the other Values are generated From: these.

Developing quality Character traits is vitally important for all levels of society. When will this be emphasized?

There is one progrAM), http://LivingValues.net that has over 90% reduction in violence in a Thai Refugee CAM)p within 2 years! The woman who developed it then went to Johannesburg, RSA and designed a progrAM) for street people - similar results!

An awesomely effective PARENTING book is: Nurturing with Love and Wisdom, Disciplining with Peace and Respect by Diane Tillman.

What will you do with this information?

From: Malini Rajendran (11:50 AM) beautifully put bradley we do need philosopher citizens. and that will happen when humanity rises into heart centreredness.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:50 AM) What do you do when the citizens decide NOT to get educated to NOT change their minds? That is what is happening in the US fostered by deliberately brainwashing media

From: Yasmina Groenstein (11:50 AM) @Malini -Yup! ❤...it will get there..

From: Diane Skidmore (11:50 AM) @Bruce - Brilliant! Looking forward to it xxx

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (11:50 AM) A place where scientists have struggled with these issues is the study of complementary and alternative medicine, energy healing — things that “work” but work through integrating multiple systems at the individual and household levels, and the possibilities for measurement create many opportunities and challenges.

From: Kat Haber (11:51 AM) Bradley Parrish: yes, dissemination matters! How are we achieving a broadcast of knowledge? Need philosopher citizens, know how to use knowledge benevolently, citizenship that is benevolent and wise, outer world, what of the inner knowledge? Equally valid. (Think indigenous?) radical half in democracy for humans, market based societies, how do we use these to have market based interventions that yield positive social impacts? no natural law of the market that makes them work in harmony with what the world really needs, internality by design, sustainability entrepreneurs, creating new org forms, new models, new products, new services, what happens when these are intended to support contribute to a longer term good through market placed enterprises, market/value driven, balanced competing interests, internally developed tools, heuristics to balance these, not seen in other entrepreneurs,Maximizeing is not balancing, understand that scientific abstract knowledge is one type of knowledge and another is hands on

From: Shannon McArthur (11:51 AM) thank you, Bradley! intention is the root, and actions inform and transform

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:52 AM) Oh but they Are trained - how can we monetize this??? becomes the intention and the distortion.

From: Diane Skidmore (11:52 AM) Thanks Bradley - great stuff!! Philosopher Citizens!! (All ages!! From: Malini Rajendran (11:53 AM) The closed clubs and royal societies of science and science halls of fAM)e need to be completely reworked and rethought. they are closed institutions who sit in egos and decide what is acceptable to science and what is not . unfortunately its too late by the time suffecient momentum is built for them to rework thier ideas.

From: Kurt Krueger (11:53 AM) Anna, you’ll love the awesomely effective PARENTING book is: Nurturing with Love and Wisdom, Disciplining with Peace and Respect by Diane Tillman.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:53 AM) @Valerie - Fear the great distorter!

From: Shannon McArthur (11:54 AM) science needs to be re-grounded in soil and in kitchens.

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (11:54 AM) The hidden issues for biomedical lab research is the struggle to find technicians with “good hands”. No one wants to really look at what that means. It relates to love of the cells, animals, plants, whatever living system is being studied. And this is why some “true” experiments are hard to replicate. There is no openness yet to looking into what is the secret sauce, since the phenomenon is so widespread.

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (11:54 AM) “The Perspectives on Indigenous Issues: Essay on Science, Spirituality Partnerships, and the Power of Words by Illarion Lary Merculieff. Scientist not honoring the indigenous out look was excellent book

From: Shannon McArthur (11:54 AM) ty, @Cheryl. interesting

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (11:55 AM) Yes!

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:56 AM) @Cherly - YES - this is an issue in medicine as well. This is how I choose a doctor!

From: Malini Rajendran (11:56 AM) rimary rule of science : question everything. we need to open up science and make it more opensource. The more fAM)ous you are the more difficult it get to accept a point of view different than yours. Completely agree with you daniela.

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (11:57 AM) @Kathryn — in med known but often not talked about explicitly, apart From: first year “doctoring” classes.

From: Raquel Torrent (11:57 AM) YES !!!

From: Liliane Mavridara (11:57 AM) Vandana, was on HR, brilliant!

From: Malini Rajendran (11:58 AM) Yet women are the last ones sent to school for an education.

From: Kala Perkins (11:58 AM) Ava Dana Shiva: Earth Democracy; Soil not Oil (books).

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (11:58 AM) @Cheryl and NOT taught

From: Paul Coleman (11:58 AM) @Daniela: Hola From: La Junta, Aysen. Very nice to here of your work and your views of how a society can move forward through imagination. I have been involved n tree planting projects all around the world for many years. We have regenerated the nature on our parcel of land here in Aysen, which was a former cow and sheep pasture, by planting 1200 local trees over the past ten years and now have a food forest and permaculture farm. This year we are creating a middle story by removing the chilco bushes that returned and at the moment are planting 130 smaller trees that can exist in the shade of the larger ones. We now have around 35 local tree species and many bushes and such local vegetation as nalca. All our trees have comes as gifts From: a CONAF tree planting progrAM). This is our facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/paulandkonomisgarden/

From: Me (11:58 AM) In response to the activity in the Humanity Rising chats, the ChatPeople have been gathering after each Humanity Rising session.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:00 PM Well didnt want to say this here but since you brought it up, but the christian missionaries are still systAM)atically destroying the adivasi ways of life throuh conversions .

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:00 PM @Elizabeth can you put that into the chat?

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:00 PM AM)arkantak

From: Diane Skidmore (12:01 PM @Stan - yes agree with Raquel!! Big thank you!!!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:01 PM me too

From: Kala Perkins (12:01 PM please can she put those books in the chat, because we couldn’t all see the nAM)es

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:02 PM Original instructions Melissa k nelson edited

From: Malini Rajendran (12:02 PM If science is elitist then there is western science and eastern science.

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:02 PM Marginalized and endangered worlviews Lidia guzy Staying alive vendana shiva

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:03 PM Braiding sweetgrass kimmerer

From: Diane Skidmore (12:03 PM conscious collaborative creative - working together - in a fair way!! Wonderful!!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:03 PM Thank you, Elizabeth

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:03 PM

From: Kurt Krueger (12:03 PM Seeking Solution rather than debating… less rhetoric and more action as Bruce would agree.

From: Yasmina Groenstein (12:03 PM @StanleyPokras and Jim and George -🙏❤ for your initiative and for facilitating the extended dialogue after sessions!

From: Malini Rajendran (12:04 PM More than science a scientific attitude is what needs to be taught in schools, where children are taught to question every thing, and not punished for asking sometimes akward questions. and its ok for teachers to say "I dont know , but Im willing to explore with you"

From: Kurt Krueger (12:04 PM For a deeper connection with others doing Zoom/FaceTime/etc.:

First, Open sacred space - ask people to pause like before eating a meal to focus on the highest good of the meeting - at least 5-9 full breaths.

Second, place your hand forward to the cAM)era, not covering it - more like reaching toward the other person/people to touch their palm. A deeper connect will occur. Keep it up… then put the hand down.

Third, keep the connection with the heart and then speak.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:05 PM Bradley, fyi, your sound varies in intensity. sometimes fades out completely but comes back again.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:05 PM Values are such a multi-leveled conversation. How we work together stems From: three basic systems that are tacit and so invisible. Getting the foundations right allows for a path forward or not. this is a very big discussion that is not being had!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:05 PM minimum values!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:05 PM Thriving Life for everyone, includes Nature.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:06 PM Foundational values

From: Diane Skidmore (12:06 PM We're gonna have to be really clever tho as - soooo many people on the planet are going to b wary of any ritual based decisions. Maybe use ritual to create the collaborative conscious new ways and THEN present them to the rest of the world

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:06 PM @Kurt - yes - but with the wrong foundation you will never get there - that’s the issue, IMO Intents: protection; improvement; life - very different!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:08 PM Kathryn, I’ve worked it on podcasts with Pakistan and India, and AM)erica. It may not work with everyone…. It spreads though

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:08 PM The indigenous ways are focused on Mother Earth/Gia and rituals of respect and gratitude.Over time the indigenous way are still stable. Science discoveries are great but changing only because a fractual puzzle piece.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:09 PM Kurt we should actually talk.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:09 PM yes

From: Kurt Krueger (12:09 PM Kathryn Oh, yeah. Talking beats texting - cause t. Holds no context.

From: Paul Coleman (12:10 PM Science needs to connect with the common people and find ways to make science, simple and accesible to all. This includes enabling all people to have access to the sAM)e high standard of education. For too long the education has been slanted to the richest and in many countries, the value of a person is seen as the letters MBA, BSc etc. that follow their nAM)es. This creates the imbalance and separation of society to the rich and the poor.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:10 PM The Yogis did science through meditation, shAM)ans do science through experimentation

From: Raquel Torrent (12:11 PM We need that the Epystemology of Science needs to add athe new narrative of Rituals, Community Building and Heart Coherence !!!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:11 PM what a radical idea!!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:11 PM Magical

From: Shannon McArthur (12:12 PM that is what shAM)ans do!!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:12 PM Brings more intuition

From: Diane Skidmore (12:12 PM YaaaaY!!

From: Raquel Torrent (12:12 PM That sounds great to me !!! And very needed !!!

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:12 PM @ Kathryn yes. And doctors and alternative medicine practitioners are also scientists experimenting with their heart connections..

From: Paul Coleman (12:12 PM Ritual is fine as long as it is not dogmatic

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:12 PM At least the question is coming From: the right place in humility

From: Kala Perkins (12:12 PM So much of our cultures themselves, are rituals that we don’t recognize as such.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:12 PM We already do that but - we're all the 'silly' or 'airy fairy' folk!!

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:12 PM so much wisdom in this chat!

From: Rachel Root (12:13 PM Mysticism and science are coming closer together

From: Liliane Mavridara (12:13 PM @Anna, excellent point.

From: Kurt Krueger (12:13 PM Unity is also the second of The Four Sacred Gifts, a great book by an elder, Anita Sanchez.

From: Victoria Schwarz Schwarz (12:13 PM Wow! intention-focused, gratitude-based science. Love it, Valerie

From: Raquel Torrent (12:13 PM Absolutely Kalia, clean our teeth, sit down to eat everyday, go to bed at night in the manner that we do it, and even the everyday shower is a mean of ritual of life !!!

From: Malini Rajendran (12:13 PM Science dosent have the tools or the vocaublary to explain the force and power of gratitude. Will share with you Valerie what I have found , understood and been revealed about how this energy of gratitude works.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:13 PM Actually, science is only now beginning to accept that prayer works so - maybe science can 'prove' that gratitude works too. Think it may already be done!!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:14 PM Spirit fills all the wholes in science.

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:14 PM We need to think about how knowledge, innovation, connection, intuition, experimentation have come together in the crucible of managing patients with covid. Such rapid change. And also the mystery of who lives and who does not.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:14 PM QED dosent consider this as fringe.

From: L M (12:14 PM @ Diane, to your point - a friend sent me this From: her christian relative’s FB post yesterday saying how saddened they were by it: “Do NOT follow your heart, Follow the conviction of the Holy Spirit.”

From: Bruce Schuman (12:14 PM Beginning stages of connecting the sciences -- so true, and so important!

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:14 PM I have wonderful stories of the power of prayer From: my cancer healing journey

From: Malini Rajendran (12:15 PM yes if the outcome is a validation of a scientific principle, than intution can be validated through the results that it produces.

From: Raquel Torrent (12:15 PM Gratitude is related to Spiritually and scientists do not accept spirituallityu in their profession and therefore thankfulness souns also weird !!! Let's say awchward!!!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:15 PM oh, Lane, that’s so badly dogmatic! Sorry to hear that - I’m sure they mean well… little do they know.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:15 PM @Lane - how do you think they connect to the Holy spirit? That would be a wonderful conversation - words...

From: Rachel Root (12:15 PM @Valerie I agree we need to speak out more!! if we wish to bring others along with us we’ve got to have the courage to speak out!!!

From: Malini Rajendran (12:15 PM The problem with science is the concepts of hypothesis.

From: Kala Perkins (12:15 PM Most deep and powerful scientific discoveries have originated with intuitions by creative scientists!

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:15 PM Science therefore put a limit on knowing by not including intuition. Maybe in the future we would be able to detect.

From: L M (12:15 PM @Shannon I was shocked.

From: Paul Coleman (12:15 PM Connecting the science of the mind with the actions of the body, through such activities as tree planting, cultivation, school gardens etc brings the practitioner into contact with the universe and the earth itself. Grounding while elevating. Ancient spirituality cAM)e though connectivity with the natural world.

From: Raquel Torrent (12:16 PM Your sounds goes away Bradley !!!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:16 PM Science can EVOLVE too.

From: Kat Haber (12:16 PM Larry Merculieff-Native Knowing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6cmKeRV3Z0

From: Crystal (12:16 PM People experiencing these intuitions are hungry for this information of different validation . . . but science may not be ready for it. Please share for those who are waiting . . .

From: Diane Skidmore (12:16 PM @Lane - as I've said many times (and it's a bit scary here) but - Morality is doing what you know is right, regardless of what you're told. Religion is doing what yu are told, regardless of what you know is right! Terribly terribly sad indeed.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:16 PM Through all of ancient History the Priests of ancient civilisations were actually scientists.

From: Kurt Krueger (12:16 PM Just as we and our society evolve and let go of the old…

From: Rachel Root (12:16 PM I believe that Gregg Braden is a good exAM)ple of someone who is using science to validate

From: Bruce Schuman (12:16 PM FAM)ous quote From: Wilhelm Roentgen - who invented x-rays. What asked, "What did you think when you say that evidence on your screen?" -- he replied, "I thought nothing. I investigated!"

From: L M (12:16 PM @Kathryn. That exactly what I asked my friend. it would take further conversation.

From: Raquel Torrent (12:17 PM Science Will HAVE TO EVOLVE, SURELY kURT !!! Like everything else, and like all of us !!!

From: Rachel Root (12:17 PM Yay Valerie I understand.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:17 PM I don’t think you need credibility in the scientific world anymore. It should not be your criteria

From: Paul Coleman (12:17 PM Science can transcends through the power of story. Ancient knowledge was passed on this way and it is stll the best way to connect with the masses.

From: Kat Haber (12:17 PM We must trust… our intuition, women and men> know what we know From: our centers?

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:18 PM You have to follow your bliss and step out and be uncomfortable.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:18 PM Do read " Molecules of Emotion:" by Candece.B.Pert.

From: Kat Haber (12:18 PM Then with courage to offer it up.

From: Cyndy Clemens (12:18 PM I bet if one was connected to brain scans during intuitive experiences, it could be seen. The trick is, of course, the timing because intuition is often spontaneous. But intuition, in its advanced stages of development, can be intentional. So, those who are in the practice of intentional tuning inward while receiving brain scans, changes in the brain could probably be seen, such as a more activated right brain.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:18 PM It dosent get more scientific than this.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:18 PM ancient knowledge is buried in dogma… how do we excavate it?

From: Liliane Mavridara (12:18 PM @Malini, excellent book!

From: Paul Coleman (12:18 PM The education system fails when lack of money prohibits everyone From: participating in an equal manner.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:19 PM Wisdom is relative and changes with the times.

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:19 PM Thank you Kat, big fan of Larry Merculieff

From: L M (12:19 PM @Diane Yes. Keep in mind this cAM)e From: the wife of a minister - both kind people (I’ve met them) and so found it doubly stressful.

From: Raquel Torrent (12:19 PM Credibility is the key, but why is more credible a scientific experiment thatn a meditation experience if it can be validated by many ????

From: Peg Kuperman (12:19 PM Did Gaia & her Wisdom have to prove her credibility?

From: Valerie A. Luzadis (12:19 PM right!

From: Bruce Schuman (12:20 PM CHAT PEOPLE -- I wrote a one-page proposal just now, and I will sent it to the C-P mailing list. : From: Rachel Root (12:20 PM I also think we have to pray that people will have experiences that they cannot explain which makes them seek answers! we need to encourage people to share their mystical experiences.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:20 PM Absolutely @Bradley - wisdom as a word is 'great' everywhere. However, our western culture worships youth and we no longer nurture or encourage or even talk about wisdom!!

From: Paul Coleman (12:20 PM It is through story and connectivity with the natural world that we cAM)e into a 'semi conscious; being

From: Shannon McArthur (12:20 PM @Peg, it was /is intrinsic and has been disputed and discarded throughout patriarchy @Bruce, you are inspirational!

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:21 PM Cleverness without wisdom is the source of our current mess

From: Malini Rajendran (12:21 PM The idea of the scientific experiement and hypothesis is that if it is correct than every time it is applied you should get the sAM)e result. The problem is the result is often lost in the conflict and egos of the vocabulary used by different people.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:21 PM @Bruce Fantastic!!!

From: Paul Coleman (12:21 PM Science needs to be humble

From: Raquel Torrent (12:21 PM Great Bradley !!! Transmit it to the other scientists!!!

From: Valerie A. Luzadis (12:21 PM heartforwardscience.org - Valerie nusawise.org - Bardley

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:22 PM Verna Allee had a wonderful model that looked at the levels of information or which wisdom was one.

From: Malini Rajendran (12:22 PM Wisdom as explained in the Upanishad is the use of Knowledge, facts, data, information in bringing about the necessary results for the benefits of the whole.

From: Cyndy Clemens (12:22 PM @ Rachel I agree.... science is often much slower at observing reality. Science is only just now validating things that mystics have known for thousands of years. I think the average person may need the validation of credibility to help them make the leap, but for those who already have the awareness, they don't need it.

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:23 PM @Malini. Perfect of course!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:23 PM Little children are usually aligned. aLREADY, LATER THE CHANGES OCCUR.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:23 PM @Anna - TOTALLY!!! Teach meditation in school!!

From: Raquel Torrent (12:23 PM Absolutely, as I said that is a ritual in itself !!! Brush your teeth with consciousness and you may be a real scientsist making a experiment and at the sAM)e time a real spiritual practitioner for the hi9gh consciousness of the momento !!!

From: Diane Skidmore (12:24 PM some schools already do that - - very expensive schools hahaha

From: Paul Coleman (12:24 PM We also need to create a new form of journalistic education, one that enables the journalist to understand what it is the scientist is talking about. The journalist often does not understand what the scientist is saying and he therefore cannot properly inform the people as to what the scientist is saying.

From: Bruce Schuman (12:24 PM nusawise.org -- shows as registered but not yet active

From: Diane Skidmore (12:24 PM Teach how to live!!! Yes Please!!!

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:24 PM Liberal arts education used to teach both. And then it was discredited for not doing enough business training…

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:25 PM @Malini Verna was very close. We created a ‘map’ applying TQM tools to that Only story has all of the parts - story is complete - that’s why it works

From: Kat Haber (12:25 PM How might scientists respect indigenous wisdom? What specific ways can both be valued?

From: Raquel Torrent (12:25 PM Yes Cheryl, it is such a pity !!!

From: Kurt Krueger (12:25 PM I’ve got to teach mediation in the ghettoes of Los Angeles Ince the mid 1970’s. It works in academics and sports, Meditation and the Ultimate Performance in Sports was presented that the 84 Olympic Scientific Congress. Connect with me for integrating it throughout our society. I presented it at the UN, Delhi Development Authority, etc. Lets spread it more.

From: Diane Skidmore (12:26 PM @Kurt Yes!!

From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:27 PM Yes Kurt! Sports is the one place where any approaches, beliefs, practices are proven in performance. What an excellent crucible for innovation, given how the society worships sports performance.

From: Kat Haber (12:28 PM Happy place-Uruguay, yes?

From: Kala Perkins (12:28 PM If we live as a humanity with scientific wisdom of sustainable coexistence we will live very differently

From: Me (12:28 PM The Greater Good Science Center makes a good start towards bringing the needs of people together with the understandings of science: https://wikidelphia.org/Greater_Good_Science_Center_(GGSC From: Cheryl Ritenbaugh (12:28 PM @Kaia. So well said.

From: Kala Perkins (12:29 PM Which country is Anna From: ?

From: Kat Haber (12:30 PM She is in Uruguay now.

From: Kurt Krueger (12:30 PM Cheryl, the results in sports made it understandable in all the other fields. That why I moved From: founding the Institute of Sports Psychology in Bombay in 82, to forming Success Systems International for all the other fields.

From: Jude Asphar (12:30 PM Elizabeth…in Onandoga country?

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:30 PM @Bradley - that is my definition of business...

From: Elizabeth Erdmann (12:34 PM Decolonizing trauma work by Renee linklater

From: Shannon McArthur (12:34 PM I AM) SonLight Sparkling on the Waters, nAM)ed by MOM, and can only be/accept it because I share it with all of You.

From: unify unify (12:34 PM Yes on decolonizing

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:34 PM @Valerie- THANK YOU!

From: Shannon McArthur (12:35 PM nAM)es are really important - it is what humans do.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:36 PM translation of jargon and esoteric concepts into language that people can understand!!

From: Malini Rajendran (12:37 PM Gallelio showed that what is percieved scientific fact can be changed when new understanding emerges.

From: Doreen Tanenbaum (12:38 PM Beautiful Bradley!

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:38 PM @Bradley - making the subtext obvious and then address that - yes

From: Bruce Schuman (12:38 PM @Shannon - we share that nAM)e MOM in some very creative ways.... : From: Crystal (12:38 PM Aristotelian triangle: meaning created by work, author/scientist/artist and viewer/reader/interpreter takes into account context and the other variables you mention

From: Diane Skidmore (12:38 PM So...… Bradley's use of cooking as a way in to science was great - another area is economy - science and economy can both be simple when explained by an understanding person

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:38 PM Clarifying subtext might just be a way to address the ‘false thinking’ being practiced here in the states.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:39 PM MOM is known to all by many nAM)es!

From: Malini Rajendran (12:39 PM Facts that have been shown not to be totally accurate: 1. The structure of the atom, the structure of the DNA, the structure of the universe, the science of how the body heals its self. The real science of the Heart and so many more. The science and facts about sugar, fats, carbohydrates which have all been proven to be different From: what scientists have told us.

From: Shannon McArthur (12:40 PM Magic (or Miracles) in Ordinary Moments = MOM

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:40 PM Webs of meaning...

From: Shannon McArthur (12:40 PM basic parts of the story we are weaving together in the kitchen and in small groups everywhere

From: Bruce Schuman (12:40 PM @Crystal -- meaning triangle: http://originresearch.com/sd/sd4.cfm#3

From: Kat Haber (12:40 PM What is a pathway of both science and indigenous wisdom might cooperate/collaborate. in the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Wilderness Act in the US a few years ago, the keynote speaker began by boldly admitting, “WE HAVE FAILED!” then he went on to list several ways the agencies were warned by natives that management decisions that were being made would not lead to the healthy balance of all reactions in the wilds. First part of solving a problem is admitting that one exists. If scientists only see their way as the right way, then there is no known problem.

From: Kathryn Alexander, MA (12:50 PM @Kurt LOL how wonderful!!!

From: Me (12:50 PM Science and religion are both ways for people to make sense of reality... people like Pierre Teilhard de Chardin made the importance of both to his audience.

From: Paul Coleman (12:50 PM Thanks all the panelists for this very important conversation. Covid 19 has illuminated just how far science has to travel to reach the common man and woman on the street.
