Dylan is a second year doctoral student concentrating on Comparative and American politics. His research interests include democracy, political attitudes/behavior, and illicit markets. He focuses on Latin America and the United States. He's specifically interested in the drug trade; how it affects local democracy, development, and the rule of law. Similarly, he's interested in how U.S. anti-drug policy affects these dynamics. His research interests within the U.S. are the causes and effects of economic inequality and the formation of political attitudes/behavior.
