15:20:22 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : Graves identified the existential problems / life conditions with letters in the first half of the alphabet (A, B, C, D, E, F...), and the emergent coping systems with letters in the second half (N, O, P, Q, R, S...). Each system emerges in response to the corresponding existential problems. (N in response to A, O in response to B, etc.)

15:27:31 From Nate~ GWA to Everyone : Loving the info points being made 🦸♂️🦹♂️😎
15:29:19 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : "centralized" "inner-directed"
15:31:36 From Nate~ GWA to Everyone : excellent point; also examining an individual's current state of mind (beyond a general stage in life such as growth development stages)
15:33:45 From David Pinto to Everyone : Reading the items on wikipedia, can people here evaluate what letter pair they may be? Is this feasible? Would this be useful?

15:39:11 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : ... also known as the above-average effect, the superiority bias, the leniency error, the sense of relative superiority, the primus inter pares effect, and the Lake Wobegon effect.
15:39:41 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : Primus inter pares = "first among equals".
15:39:50 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : I think the statistics show that 78% of people believe that they are above average in intelligence….
15:40:47 From Parmjit Nahil to Everyone : Also most people suffer from imposter syndrome - go figure!
15:40:48 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : there are probably different studies, but here's one: "65% of Americans believe they are above average in intelligence: Results of two nationally representative surveys" ::https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6029792/::
15:41:44 From Freed Schmitter to Everyone : Pete, almost scary…
15:41:56 From Nate~ GWA to Everyone : Lyra and I are interested in collaborating these overlaps in these works. I'm able to see a near seamless compliment for the overall community🤠
15:43:17 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : broken down by sex, 71% of men and 59% of women strongly agree or mostly agree with the statement, “I am more intelligent than the average person."

15:46:10 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : "Type 1 allostatic load occurs when energy demand exceeds supply, resulting in activation of the emergency life history stage. Type 2 allostatic load results from sufficient or even excess energy consumption being accompanied by social conflict or other types of social dysfunction."
15:46:13 From Kyle Smith to Everyone : Ego is subtle. If I have an unrealistic positive sense of self, often it's helping me compensate for an unrealistic negative sense of self on the other side of the seesaw. That negative sense of self began via trauma, whether acknowledged by me or not.

15:50:09 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : Thanks Jeroen!
15:50:25 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : More likely, a movement of more than one level will not be stable.

15:51:27 From charles blass [he-him] to Everyone : yes! great question
15:51:46 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : Ask Klaus! He uses it all the time…

15:52:38 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : Yeah, but I see he still posts on OGM!😉
15:52:53 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : Venessa's last name on the web / social media is often still Miemis, but she is also now Venessa Hall.
15:53:05 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : 👍🏼
15:53:32 From charles blass [he-him] to Everyone : brb
15:56:18 From Nate~ GWA Freemont CA (he/him) to Everyone : I absolutely love this type of work @Samuel Well done
15:56:29 From Kyle Smith to Everyone : I wonder if standing on the shoulders of giants allows people to skip certain steps. If it is possible, I wonder if it's a good thing? For instance, it's arguably better to learn the basics of math and build up step-by-step, since the topic reinforces itself so well.
15:57:09 From Laureli Shimayo to Everyone : I missed the beginning of the conversation, and I know Sam Rose, a bit about Spiral Dynamics, plus I use World View in my ThriveTypes - ::http://www.thrivetypes.com/world-view:: and I use it practically with people ALL THE TIME. It matters.
15:57:27 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : Maslow's "needs" are more immediate. A quick look at SD levels and letters, seems like C red is not an improvement of B purple. D blue is very Buddhist and E orange leads to the decline.
15:58:00 From David Pinto to Everyone : Nice comments, Kyle.
15:58:09 From Laureli Shimayo to Everyone : I don’t know the complexities of Astrology, people who know it well use Astrology for helping people evolve too (I don’t know this part)
15:59:27 From Laureli Shimayo to Everyone : Cultures have World Views, and I help companies hire based on World View. I just had a meeting earlier today teaching a client to assess this.
15:59:35 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : Good day to talk about astronomical roots of astrology
15:59:50 From Ken Homer • San Rafael CA to Everyone : I like those questions from Graves - maybe a good convo for Cicolab would be to inquire into what we think constitutes a mature intelligent human being?
16:00:12 From Freed Schmitter to Everyone : Walter, good observation!
16:00:13 From charles blass [he-him] to Everyone : @laureli if you like to share briefly that'd be great
16:00:16 From Laureli Shimayo to Everyone : Yes. I run metaphysical fairs too, so I’m around a lot of people that deeply believe, see practical applications and do make good use of it. It is not my thing though....
16:01:41 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : ::http://www.thrivetypes.com/world-view::
16:02:00 From Pete Kaminski to Everyone : Survival: simple, gets basic needs met
Security: figure out and follow the rules
Success: impress peers, climb to top

Presence: balance, integrate, heal
Service: non-dualistic contributions

16:08:20 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : Holacracy outcomes are TBD. The company that it started in did not flourish, by commercial metrics. Medium abandoned using it

16:08:56 From Kyle Smith to Everyone : Thank you! I enjoyed being here.
16:10:22 From Nate~ GWA Freemont CA (he/him) to Everyone : objective targeting application via funding mechanism and paths?
16:10:23 From Samuel Rose to Everyone : @Walter interesting. Yes, Graves basically said one level is not necessarily better than another per se, other than being more cognitively complex. But these are the levels that do emerge in humans

17:48:19 From Stanley Pokras to Everyone : Dear CICOLab Friends,
As an instigator of potentially useful and helpful ideas, it's my great pleasure to invite you to join what I am calling the Collective Intelligence Cavalry (CIC). While we won't arrive mounted on horseback we surely can be the force for nature and all life on this planet that we have been waiting for...
I believe that all of you share my gratitude to Lauren and Charles for creating the structure that we can fortify in ways to bring their bountiful vision into focus. Helpfulness brings people (and projects) into focus.
Thank you for indulging me in my passion!
Let's see what comes of it.

17:52:24 From Laureli Shimayo to Everyone : I went to the wrong room, then looked for the email!
17:53:49 From Jeroen Koomen to Everyone : could cause a traffic jam, at which point the saxaphone comes in handy :)
17:54:02 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : @vincent, is that list of links yours or copied from CSC?
17:55:26 From Vincent Arena to Everyone : It’s pulled from CSC and anyone can copy it out if you want :D
17:57:19 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : The fact that many of the attendees did not have the right link and apparently simply dropped out not funny at all.
It's a clear failing, and the reasons need to be understood, so they can be avoided
17:59:07 From Ras Moshe Burnett to Everyone : Things happen. Its good that these talks continue.
17:59:33 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : The attitude "the cool kids are in the know, where to go" is exactly what was excruciatingly inappropriate with our mutual experience with DAOs.
18:00:07 From Vincent Arena to Everyone : I’d like to add a brief story here
18:01:09 From Ras Moshe Burnett to Everyone : I had to sign in a different way today also, changing my zoom password because I was outside without it. But it ended up working out.
18:02:41 From Walter Karshat to Everyone : I am already on Discord and Telegram and keybase and whatever other half-dozen platforms, and know a bit about SourceCred, etc.
The bottom line, nothing there will improve what's happening here already, nor will fix what's broken now...

18:16:19 From Mark Carranza to Everyone : I am SO introverted!

split by purpose
what I'm pulled to - not what is pushed at me

18:23:58 From James’s iPad to Everyone : Bedtime 4me! but one closing comment.... i think there is a large looming philosophical, existential and epistemological problem which afflicts all change agent groups - the notion of group identity itself. Each group aspires to attract users. This is such a fundamental assumption that underlies the modus operandi of almost all organizations. The most fundamental assumptions are usually the last to be questioned. Groups are started by a small number of individuals with a core vision. The people who end up in those groups are there through a combination of networking, alignment of values and serendipity. Presently, there are innumerable groups like this one trying to grow and develop triggers for system change. All these innumerable groups will fail to co-create deep coherence if we do not undergo a subtle but hugely important psychological shift. Instead of “joining us”, the thinking needs to shift to “join together.” In my view, Social weaving is the lynchpin. Nite!
