I am an independent researcher with multiple affiliations, currently focusing on models of consciousness, free will (or mechanisms of agency), psychedelics, artificial life, and AI (and human) alignment protocols. Please see this Youtube channel for recorded conversations (and gym sessions 🏋️ (maybe I should make a separate channel for that?)).

My ultimate purpose is exploring how people can be adaptive, creative, and free in all aspects of their lives, both as individuals and communities.
Compassion is my religion.
