Touch Drawing came into Deborah’s life in revelatory play in 1974. She realized in those moments that this way of drawing with the fingertips could serve a more fluid, evolving human consciousness. She also sensed that it would help us access our primal creative impulse as a counterbalance to technology. This direct and natural way of drawing enables us to translate subtle sensations into images. As such, it can be used to bring presences from subtle realms into form. Deborah will create a few touch drawings live, in attunement to the impulse that wants to emerge during our session. This simple yet profound creative process can be used by anyone as an integrative healing art form and to develop our connection with deeper levels of life and consciousness. | |||
