OPEN SPACE TECHNOLOGY FORUM

Open Space is guided by the Four Guiding Principles and the Law of Two Feet.

1. Whoever shows up are the right people

2. Whenever it starts is the right time.

3. Whatever happens is the only thing that could have.

4. When it’s over, it’s over.

The Law of Two Feet means that at any point, if a participant feels they are not contributing nor learning, they can use their feet (or click) to go to another breakout session or leave the open space.

Roles:

•Breakout Host – Opens the conversation and invites members to engage

•Guardian – watches and safeguards group energy

•Scribe – Take notes from the conversation

•Harvester – Shares highlights from the conversation during the harvest plenary
