Creating a preferred future is about taking initiative in one's own lifestyle and how a person interacts with the wider world. Two primary ideals emerge for the personal and macro level - living within the boundaries of the natural world and bringing out the best in positive human potential.

  • Jan's focus in on urban land use, economics, care for the natural world, permaculture, reducing eco foot prints and community engagement.
  • His website includes links to many presentations he has made on you tube, the "Conversations For A Preferred Future" series, "how to" help for transforming a suburban property, before and now fotos of his place, links to articles and more.
