Peter Matthies is a global leader of the Conscious Business Movement. A former venture capitalist and Software Entrepreneur, he founded the Conscious Business Institute in 2005 and has since worked with over 60.000 professionals in organizations from 1-100.000 people - including Starbucks, BMW Group, Siemens, and Intel – to build more inspiring, purpose-driven businesses. Before founding the Conscious Business Institute, Peter was a Principal for a globally leading Private Equity and Venture Capital firm, Apax Partners & Co, and for b-business partners, a $1 billion pan-European VC fund. He’s is a fellow of the World Business Academy and a member of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle, and enjoys his life in Santa Barbara.
