Patrick grew up in America’s Pacific Northwest and lived in France, Japan and Thailand before settling in London. Patrick has enjoyed a career at the crossroads of storytelling and technology, first as foreign news journalist with the BBC and later leading international video partnerships for YouTube and Facebook.

Feeling a strong urge to commit himself to the future of learning, Patrick recently co-founded Uptime, a curated video platform for curious minds. Mission: inspire people everywhere to keep learning, growing and contributing to a better world.
