Why OtherNetworks?

The purpose of OtherNetworks is grounded in a commitment to helpfulness and nonviolence: "I offer OtherNetworks.org as an organizing tool for people who recognize that humanity still has a way to go toward forging a healthy, nonviolent consensus on how our civilization can repair the damage it has been inflicting on the natural world and distressed people.
