About the Liberation Tech email list
The mailing list for the Program on Liberation Technology was originally started at Stanford University by the world's top scholars in the fields of technology, democracy, and human rights to research, design, use, and teach how information and communication technologies could foster positive social change. The mailing list -- which has broadened its scope to include any technology, not just information and communication technologies -- has spun off and exists independently of Stanford.
