HR!Day952 - Fri 6/28/24 Word of the Eagle - Miktlan Kouatl
- --- Humanity Rising Day 952 - Friday June 28, 2024 (GoTo Bottom)
Kuautlajtoli, or The Word of the Eagle, encapsulates six years of research into the ideographic writing system presented in ancient Mexican codices. Painted like a mirror, this art piece invites the viewer to engage in deep self-analysis through learning the concepts that shape the Tolteca cosmovision. Kuautlajtoli serves as a guide for understanding and channeling our nature, allowing each individual to reflect on their experiences and find a way to harness them towards a healthier, happier, and more creative life.
Miktlan Kouatl is a prominent visual artist and tlacuilo (transcriber of the Tolteca writing system) with over 22 years of experience. His work has been exhibited in significant international venues such as Milan, New York, and Florida, as well as in prestigious museums in Mexico City, including the National Museum of Art (MUNAL).
With a background in fine arts from the National Institute of Fine Arts and twice selected for the visionary art intensive by Alex and Allison Grey at COSM, Miktlan is known for his unique visual language and philosophical discourse based on intuition and the order of nature.
His research into Tolteca culture has led to the development of a methodology for self-analysis and energy channeling that helps balance the self and enhance the natural creative flow present in all human beings.
Among his notable works is 'Kuautlajtoli or the Word of the Eagle, a compendium that explores the fundamental concepts of the Toltec Culture.
