Please join us for a conversation about the power of psychedelic medicine with the Drs. Matthew Hicks and Olivia Giguere of Synaptic Institute. Synaptic Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit located in Portland, Oregon providing naturopathic medicine and integrative mental health care, psychedelic assisted therapy, training programs in ketamine assisted therapy and psilocybin facilitation, and psychedelic medicine research. Graduates of Synaptic's Psilocybin Facilitator program can go on to obtain a Master's Degree or PhD in Entheogenic Medicine through Ubiquity University. We envision a world with a widespread network of highly skilled practitioners providing care and connection to self, others, and the world at large. Our mission is to cultivate skillful, ethical, and socially responsible practitioners of entheogenic medicine rooted in holism, traditional wisdom, and science.
Matthew Hicks, ND, MS, CPTR, is the founder of Synaptic Institute, a naturopathic physician specializing in integrative mental health, the host of the Integrative Psychiatry Review podcast, and a facilitator of psychedelic therapy. He holds a degree in medical research and has authored peer-reviewed papers on empathy, mindfulness, and psychedelic topics.
Olivia Giguere, ND, is a naturopathic physician specializing in holistic mental health care using psychedelic assisted therapy, somatic techniques, and psychospiritual herbalism. She serves as the co-director of Synaptic Institute.
