A discussion with Dr. Maka’ala Yates about the Hawaiian ho’oponopono process from an indigenous perspective. Dr. Yates is currently writing a book about the 3 female Hawaiian Kahuna who were part of his life and education. Learn how this indigenous practice heals from the inside out.
- Dr. Maka'ala Yates, D.C. is a Kanaka Maoli of Hawaiian ancestry who specializes in Hawaiian medicine. He has been practicing and teaching Hawaiian healing concepts for over 30 years and is founder of Mana Lomi and Indigenous Botanicals. Maka'ala received the Kaonohi Award in 2005 from the State of Hawaii for his excellence in Hawaiian medicine and community support. He is author of Na'auao Ola Hawaii: Ancient Hawaiian Principles and Practices of Being Well.
