As the State of the World Forum unites voices from across the planet around Four Intelligences —Human, Nature, Artificial and Cosmic—this last Humanity Rising session before the forum dives into one of its core threads: the Frontiers of Consciousness. What changes when we see ourselves as part of a larger ecology of intelligences—human, nature, artificial and cosmic—rather than as the apex of a hierarchy? What if developing clairvoyance and other subtle capacities is part of human alignment in an AI-saturated world? Rather than offering instant answers, this session invites us into the Forum’s deeper work: asking better questions about consciousness, technology and destiny—together—so that the future we’re building with AI and emerging intelligences is not just survivable, but truly a future to fall in love with.
Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell is a Johns Hopkins–trained neuropsychiatrist, neuroscientist and integrative healer. A former Harvard Medical School faculty member, she researches telepathy in autistic savants, explores theories of consciousness and authored The ESP Enigma, bringing rigorous, evidence-based inquiry to phenomena often dismissed as “paranormal.” Her research opens a scientific door into clairvoyance and telepathy as real, if poorly understood, aspects of human intelligence and connectivity.
Katie Hurley - BlackSwan Technologies comes from the leading edge of Artificial Intelligence. She helped launch Salesforce’s AI platform, Einstein, in 2016, co-founded its AI research arm and ethical AI practice, and has since led go-to-market for AI start-ups. Deeply embedded in neuroscience, consciousness and quantum computing communities, she now leads BLCKSWN, a think tank dedicated to raising human potential in the age of AI and emerging intelligences. Her work speaks directly to one of the Forum’s four fundamental truths: exponential AI has been unleashed—and our inner architecture must grow to meet it.
