Better Business and a Better Future Enabled by Better Business Leaders
We all face significant challenges and disorienting dilemmas in today's increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. This is also the case in the world of business. Business, in fact, has immense potential in co-creating a better future. Yet, not enough business leaders have realized the potential and risen to the challenge. Addressing this gap presents a vast untapped potential since many wicked problems urgently need co-creative and innovative solutions. Solutions that the business world is well equipped to address through the ingenuity, creativity, collaboration, and resources that it can so often mobilize more effectively and efficiently than other human organizations. Here, business leaders are crucial actors - or systemic acupuncture points - to unlock its vast potential. This seminar explores the leadership qualities necessary for a thriving future and how leaders can be supported on their transformational journey from the perspective of Vertical Leadership Development.
Elisabet Lagerstedt has 30 years of experience in business, strategy, and leadership. Born and raised in southern Sweden as the eldest of four siblings, Elisabet’s upbringing emphasized performance, curiosity, love, and kindness. She has experienced success in the corporate world but also a sense of misalignment, prompting her to go inward to look for answers. She is currently integrating her inner journey with her professional life. Today, Elisabet is a strategy and transformation consultant, an executive coach specializing in vertical leadership development, and the founder of Future Navigators, a certified B Corporation. She is also a Certified StageSHIFT coach, the author of two books, a Nordic B Leader, a Climate Reality Leader, and an IDG Ambassador. She supports business leaders in transforming their companies and stepping up to the challenges of our world through inner development.
