Eve Jackson a retired Jungian analyst originally from Wales and currently living on Crete. She will be looking at the encounter of the West with Chinese philosophy as refracted through the spiritual practices of The Secret of the Golden Flower. Associated with alchemy and first brought to Europe by sinologist Richard Wilhelm nearly 100 years ago, it was published with a psychological commentary by his friend C.G. Jung, on whom it made a powerful impact.
