</blockquote>Noticing the connection between Tarot and Polarity Therapy, '''[[Miriam Jacobs]]''' started to include brief Tarot card reading alongside her bodywork sessions. Drawing on her art background (and love of charts) to gain clarity of the connecting systems Miriam created ''Polarity Wellness Tarot'', the first somatic Tarot deck. She was then asked to write the award winning ''“Tarot and the Chakras: Opening New Dimensions to Healers”,'' which integrated Tarot with several universal based systems, such as Astrology, the Chakras and meditation.

Miriam now uses the Tarot cards to support others to create cathartic movement pieces: Tarot in Motion, synchronizing her past explorations with movement to bring our experience of ourselves into heightened consciousness. She focuses on safe share, process and having fun. This has led to her newly released book ''Tarot in Motion: A Handbook to Embody Wisdom through the Cards.''

'''[[Miriam Jacobs]]''', RPE, CMT & BFA is an energy based healer, and dance enthusiast who has been reading Tarot cards for over 30 years. After a successful career as a visual artist in New York, Miriam found herself drawn to the healing arts. In 1994, she began formal training and was certified in Polarity Therapy. ''Miriam holds a BFA in fine arts from SUNY at Buffalo, NY. For years she ran and taught fine art programs in NYC.'' She has a Registered Polarity Educator (RPE), ''a massage certificate (CMT) and continues'' to study a wide range of healing methods and explore somatic movement systems.
