@Maddie - when we believe that our our personal desires are more important than the greater good, then we can shape that as loss of freedom. That perspective is what has resulted in climate change and environmental degradation . We think we our more important than nature - now we are seeing how that is not true. The Greater good is just that greater. We are free within the boundaries of nature not by going outside of them. that is one way ‘freedom’ has bee corrupted.
