Rapidly share challenges and expectations, building new connections

  1. Invite people to pair with strangers or colleagues in groups/functions different from their own
  2. Ask, “What big challenge do you bring to this gathering? What do you hope to get from and give this group or community?”
  3. Ask questions that invite participants to shape the direction of their work together
  4. Try a lively variation called Liquid Courage: http://www.liberatingstructures.com/storage/ppt-shows/Liquid%20Courage%20v%201.2%20pdf.doc
  5. Three rounds - In each round, 2 minutes per person to answer the questions. 4-5 min. per round

See ICA's Consensus Worksop Method for a valuable technique for capturing the useful information generated by this networking.
