'''[[Duane Elgin]]''' is a visionary author, speaker, and activist who has spent decades exploring humanity’s potential for conscious evolution. Known for his groundbreaking work on voluntary simplicity, sustainability, and the future of civilization, Elgin is the author of several influential books, including Choosing Earth and Awakening Earth. He draws from a wealth of experience, including serving on the Presidential Commission on Population Growth and the American Future, as well as conducting pioneering futures research at SRI International.
