Humanity Rising Chile

Humanity Rising is taking root in Latin America in a very powerful ways. One of the most dynamic initiatives is taking place in Chile where a local Humanity Rising group is taking shape. This session will present the Chilean cultural flavor of Humanity Rising. There will be music, artistic expression and discussion of how Chileans are rising to make a difference in climate change and the environment.  

• Carlos Prosser González: Environmental Consultant, University Specialist in Coaching, Manager and Holistic Researcher of Culture. Renowned networker with experience in networks of planetary consciousness, ecology and pacifism. Designer of the National System of School Environmental Certification in Chile.
• Gonzalo Muñoz Abogabir: Nominated by the Chilean presidency and the United Nations as the High Level Climate Champion for the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) to the United Nations Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC), to mobilize climate action in non- state actors around the world, as well as advise the COP25 presidency. Prior to this, he co-founded and ran TriCiclos, one of the most recognized Latin American companies in circular economy and recycling.
• Rodrigo Subhira Cepeda: Musician graduated as Composer from the ”Modern School of Music” getting a post graduate specialization and later the Master of the Arts on Composition at the Conservatory of Music University of Chile in Santiago. After more than twenty five years on stage, he has released 15 albums, played hundreds of concerts and international tours. In 1993, Subhira also founded the independent world music label and production company ”Mundovivo” , where he produced and released albums of more than 50 other Chilean artists.
