About the NextGen Week:
The rising generation of decision-makers and global citizens has an important role in this movement to build a more sustainable and resilient planetary society. It is their generation and those to follow that will be most affected by the actions we all take today. This week, we feature NextGen leaders from around the world to share their vision for the future and actionable solutions they are working on today.

Alexej Perunov/ National Director of Marketing & External Relations at AIESEC Denmark
Alex is a young professional with a background in Economics. His main responsibilities within AIESEC include connecting young and senior change-makers around Global Goals and youth leadership.

Mariann Libach Burup / Youth Island Ambassador
Mariann is one of 4 young people, who have donated a year of their life to live full time on Youth Island to guide visitors and host meetings and events
Luka Holsteen / Climate Ambassador at Copenhagen City
Luka is Climate Ambassador at Copenhagen City’s department for Sustainable Development. She served as facilitator of the C40 Youth take over in connection with the C40 Mayors Summit in Copenhagen in 2019.
Mads Borup / 2030 School student
Mads is a student at the worlds first SDG certified School in Copenhagen and a Transition Cities exchange Student
Aldo Perez / Economist and IT developer
Aldo is former president of AIESE in Mexico and USA and a passionate climate-reality leader certified by Al Gore
Bente Milton / Founder of City-transformers
Bente is a filmmaker, educator and immersive media producer focused on developing new learning and dissemination methods bringing young people’s digital skills into play
