It is medically-led, with a Medical Advisory Board made up of doctors and clinical psychologists at the heart of what we do. If disclosure is a process, then uNHIdden’s mission is to help as many people as possible get to the other side in as positive a way as possible. On 17th April 2024 we published a White Paper with five recommendations for the UK Government. This includes the need for better guidance for health and social care professionals to make it easier for them to consult patients presenting with Exceptional Experiences in a non-judgmental and evidence-based manner. It also makes the case for Government providing credible information to the public on the UAP topic, and the importance of developing a single, joined-up plan for UAP disclosure in a way that builds trust.
