Editor's Note: could it be that Tom's "commerce" exchanges can cause the commercial economy to be treated as a "Commons" following the principals set down by Elinor Ostrom? It could mean that instead of bankers owning a bunch of businesses, the businesses would own the bank and treat each others as members of a cooperative that they jointly own and manage.
