Cities Rising Week Invitaton

Dear ChatPeople,

Wishing you a Happy New Year - and an Amazing Decade beginning in 2021. With all its challenges we will all remember and thank 2020 as the year that brought so many of us together from diverse communities and improbable corners of the world. We met, we shared our stories, we supported each other and envisioned a new world together.

Ideas led to plans and plans are now leading to action, action for a new thriving world.

Now:

Humanity Rising's 2021 opening week, January 11 to 15, is about cities and communities in transition. Marilyn Hamilton and Beth Sanders will be convening a super-charged opening for HR in 2021 titled "Cities Rising for a Regenerative World".
The overarching theme of the Cities week is to explore communities as dynamic living systems.
The week-long exploration will offer a variety of lenses, tools and practices—and opportunities for us to reflect—that will enable us to best serve our city/communities so that they can best serve us and a regenerative world.
Their intention is to create an iterative, interactive experience with diversity, that will build over the week as we work with regenerative tools and practices.

So, beginning with where we live (which is mostly in cities big or small and where we were locked in) we will be taking a closer look at our cities in a participatory online event “The Cities Week – from 11-15th January, 2021”

I invite you to bring your voice, your ideas and how we can engage, transform and build our cities for all to thrive in happiness and health. To engage, participate and to be up-to-date and in the loop - about all that’s happening in the Cities week – Just send an email to <cities@chataction.org> with these words in the subject line. “All about cities week.”

And if you would like to know more about “what, where, how and who” in connection with the Cities week just check it out here: https://othernetworks.org/City_Rising_Week

With best regards ( or what ever you sign out with)
