  • Mary Felicia Jackson, PhD, A faculty and Program Coordinator for the Outdoor Education Leadership at Prescott College, Mary is an interdisciplinary academic, writer and artist. Mary is interested in the entanglement of seemingly disparate ideas and how they smash together and then separate, but forever connected by that coming together. Her academic and professional work integrate adventure and outdoor education, sustainable tourism, and women's human rights and empowerment. As a visual artist, she emphasizes a theoretical approach of new materialist and posthumanist methodologies, examining concepts of embodied experience and process in both oil and watercolor paintings.
