Maria Kingery

Maria Kingery, works with purpose-driven organizations and leaders by helping them align their values with their actions, their people with their bold vision, and their data with their accomplishments. Maria co-founded Southern Energy Management with her husband in 2001. Since then, she has helped pioneer the residential energy efficiency and solar industries in North Carolina and beyond. Being deeply committed to sustainable business practices, Maria believes businesses have the greatest power to drive positive change. In 2009, she led SEM to become a Certified B Corporation, one of the first 250 companies in the world to commit to measure their impact in using business to solve social and environmental challenges. She is based in North Carolina.
