As a very early pioneer and entrepreneur of innovation, specializing in collaborative innovation, innovation strategy and design thinking for transformation, I've served Global Fortune 500 organizations as well as institutions such as Universities, Libraries, Education and Cultural Arts. I've done this through many roles including founder, leader, collaborator, coach, mentor, advisor and speaker.

Innovation in Business: spark!Consulting

At Unilever I developed new approaches to consumer insights & research, followed by work in multi-national corporate strategy. I became an early champion of using innovation tools to transform businesses, products, services and organizations, by founding spark!Consulting to drive innovation & growth for Fortune 500 companies, launching several successful new product/service/business model innovations for UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, PepsiCo, Kimberly Clark, Hormel Foods and others.

Innovation in the Public Sector: Innovation Builders

I founded Innovation Builders in 2014 and created the award-winning EXCITE Transformation series of programs to help "learning" organizations such as libraries, schools, universities & cultural arts use innovation to transform their staff, organizations and communities, to serve their customers at the deepest level and to become 21st Century Leaders.

Innovation in the Cultural Arts: Beechwood Arts & Innovation

I co-founded Beechwood Arts & Innovation, a 501(c)3, with the mission to transform the arts experience for the 21st Century by exploring meaningful themes through cross-discipline exploration, immersion, collaboration and connection and using technology to enhance connection & understanding.
