A new federal bill that threatens to eliminate all state and local control in cell tower and small cell placements is still making its way through Congress. Proposed bill H.R. 3557 aims to expedite the deployment of wireless and other communications facilities through a massive federal power grab that strips away state and local control in permitting and regulatory review processes – the very mechanisms designed to protect citizens from the threats posed by wireless facilities.

I am usually the only white person here in Punta Gorda, Belize. I experienced racism a few weeks ago as a black man accused me of my people lynched black folks, I was dancing in the street at this small one table and as he left this one table restaurant/house, he threw his drink on me. As I told my friend (his 1st cousin) and the other patrons and owner the back lash was amazing as they all stood up for me. Karma his a bitch.

You are a Sweet Thing Anasuya! I know where you're coming from. I was born and raised next to Bed-Stuy, but had a nice brownstone next to a church because my mother was a teacher and father was a policeman - civil service jobs with my father given a status because of his service in WWII. Most didn't want to mess with me because my father was a cop, others attacked me because of that. I had to watch for people coming out to push broom sticks through the spokes of my wheels coming down the block on my block - one would try take my bike, two would try to beat me up. This is the reality I try to get people to understand when us Humanity Rising people are so against ANY violence. We are here to fight back. I stopped two rapes, Became an activist. Wrote for newspapers. Worked for the UN. Never had non-consensual sex. Loved all my partners before getting physical. Thought a sissy by some who didn't understand why I wasn't Predator Male with dozens of... Not Sorry because I go on so long. We're to hear.
