Jim, I feel your perspective of Europe being a vassal of the USA is disrespectful of them. They have been holding ground and pouring their love into their land for thousands of years. The USA is a bully, and is learning from its actions, as we do. I believe we need to see what is happening and rise above it. It is in the name of the program we are part of. Humanity Rising can only be if we DO rise above the “reality” that surrounds us. Breathe and believe… trust that the learning is happening, and humanity will emerge, wise and coherent.

No disrespect intended but US control of all of Europe is now a fact. US is building bases and deploying nuclear weapons in Eastern Europe as they have in Western Europe. It is a very sad reality, doubly so since there seems to be little awareness in Europe that this is happening and that the war in Ukraine is a disaster for them. What is the amount of US dollars spent on war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and now Ukraine to date? I believe the number mentioned the other day for Iraq and Afganistan was 21 trillion $. This number could be very persuasive on placards and in interviews but needs to be accurate.

In my article about Fear and Projection as the root causes of war, I wrote that “War is perhaps the deadliest game that humanity has created. The conflict itself represents what appears to be opposing views about the way things should be. Each side believes that it is right and that its actions are justified. Each side therefore seeks to impose its views on the other or to defend its views against the other. Each side fears the other as an enemy and each side projects its fears onto its perceived ‘enemy.’” In my humble view, a path to Peace ultimately cannot be materialized with a Consciousness that involves “good guy vs bad guy” narratives as Truths, that cast the U.S. (Biden, etc.), Russia (Putin, etc.), or Ukraine (Zelensky, etc.) in “good guy vs bad guy” positions. So, yes, “balanced education,” “authentic communication” and breaking down fears and projections among all relevant parties (diplomacy & negotiations) are paramount actions for creating a climate for Peace.

The argument discouraging dissent is that we need to show “the Russians” that we are committed to get them out of Ukraine “as long as it takes” as a way to avoid more bloodshed. In other words, present a united front to get them to change. How stupid do we think the world is? They’ve seen us bring bloodshed and then betray allies in Vietnam, Laos, Afghanistan, Iraq, (Syris is ongoing and complicated) …. Why would words and pretense now be convincing when we have such a history of similar betrayal?

Today I heard on NPR the sanctions are not working and Janet Y. says that Turkey and the UAE are both being used by Russia to take supplies for Russia and send via their different modalities what ever Russia requires as far as supplies that are banned by the USA, food and material goods etc. There are so many ways every governing body has to circumvent these kind of sanctions politics make strange bedfellows and the art of the possible. We are so not making sense here and our policies are yes Imperialistic and if you take a look at history and see what has become of the UK who once ruled trade and half the world. Sad story relegated to the state of their current inability and inept political machine. We need to send women to negotiate who are engaged in a way that Peace is the only way forward and in a non violet way .
