Text of the Zoom Chat from Humanity Rising Day 446
...
11:02:26 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Thank you, Jim, for all that you bring to us.
11:02:54 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Greetings, all, from the traditional lands of the Arapaho now known as Denver, Colorado.
11:02:56 From Barbro Esbjörnsdotter to Everyone:
Thank you for the last 3 Days. They opened up so much!
11:03:08 From Stanley Pokras Pokras to Everyone:
Here we are on April 1st… and the 446th episode of Humanity Rising…
11:03:14 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
I love how MOM guides us (the Magic in Ordinary Moments).
11:04:51 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
I am surprised that the angle of the trans sessions seems to have been to support the conventional media narrative.
11:09:21 From Stanley Pokras to Richard Buckley(Direct Message):
Thanks, Rick.
11:11:43 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
Missionaries perpetuating lies, are all guilty of crimes against Mother Nature.
11:13:02 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
Talking in Tongues - would love to hear more About that.
11:14:19 From Theresa El-Amin to Everyone:
Want Stan and others to know I'm in a Reparations conference and am listening in with divided attention. It's a two day conference I'm hoping some of you will join later today and some of tomorrow. Reparations conference is in-person and online.
11:15:18 From Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Everyone:
Theresa, what’s the link?
11:16:11 From Stanley Pokras to Everyone:
Theresa, can you put a link here for the conference?
11:16:33 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Karan, I am surprised you heard it that way. What was presented seemed to be encouraging healthy development of people. While little was mentioned about the traumas trans people experience, its good to have a grounding in what IS available. I hope Jim will invite some on the other side of the spectrum (male to woman).
11:16:57 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Sorry, Jaran. (Darn spellcheck!)
11:16:58 From Charry Stover to Everyone:
Jim, That is precisely why I refused to be confirmed into the Methodist Church in 1968/69. I simply didn't believe that everyone else was damned. On the Sunday when everyone else got confirmed my mother came home in tears saying that if I hadn't been baptized that I would have been totally pagan. Of course I was growing up in a small university town. (West Lafayette, Indiana/Purdue), so I had a little bit of help from the larger environment.
11:16:58 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
That's what's Happening now .#
11:17:09 From Jane Norton to Everyone:
I was raised Catholic with 14 years of catholic school and got in trouble in first grade for questioning the idea that we're born with original sin.
11:17:12 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
Share the delusion
11:17:38 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
Go with the programme
11:17:58 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Play their “game”
11:18:14 From Barbro Esbjörnsdotter to Everyone:
My father believed in hell all his Life. So sad!
11:20:08 From Kat Haber to Everyone:
These bible stories require faith to live by. What is faith among the educated?
11:21:40 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
Shannon, that was just my superficial impression, didn't watch them. But I think if we look into the matter closely there are serious potential repercussions for the human race in introducing the idea of being born into the wrong body and washing out important understandings of male-female polarities. And the agenda only seems to be driven by the transgendered people themselves. Lots of esoteric dimensions to this.
11:22:40 From Barbro Esbjörnsdotter to Everyone:
When I started to study theology and history, my professor warned all believers, that they might be in for a different story.
11:22:56 From Aida Merriweather to Everyone:
When I was at Wellesley, biblical history was a requirement/ While I was raised Episcopalian, I discovered that somehow I really did believe that cultural idea that the Bible was the word of God. I was so relieved to discover this different perspective
11:23:24 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Joran, we learn through the struggle with these existential questions. Learning is why we are here, imho.
11:23:50 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
Yes, of course. But the official angles to issues are usually distorted.
11:24:58 From Carol Sue Engleman to Everyone:
I just learned a new meaning of witness
11:26:32 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
These talks/discussions are really what education should be about
11:28:43 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Diana, yes, so many of us learn well this way - and others learn other ways. There is space for a multitude of methods, and we need to be sure the student is uplifted instead of pushed into a box.
11:29:43 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
Yes, Shannon "pushed into a box" = indoctrination
11:30:45 From diana Winhill to Everyone:
Capability of listening is one of our most important attributes
11:32:06 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
Teaching christian religion to youth should be illegal
11:33:30 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
Colonial education systems are purposely designed to bury lies and perpetuate unsustainable trajectories.
11:34:06 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Kevin, we need to know the motivations of others. Christians are not going to disappear. If we don’t learn from the past we are doomed to repeat it. Children MUST learn about Christianity and other religions WHILE they delve into themselves to find their own connection to “God” where “God” can teach each of them.
11:35:04 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
Learning from the past needs a truth to be shared; which christians deny
11:37:27 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Joran, I’m SO sorry you didn’t stay long enough mohave an experience of Kelsey and others. I came away feeling thet the INCLUSION of both sexes is a higher and more complete way of being than being just female or male.
11:37:53 From Ingrid Collins to Everyone:
Jesus wasn't teaching Christianity, simply Judaism. He was a travelling rabbi who was also a political agitator in a land occupied by the Romans. It was Paul who invented Christianity. Judaism doesn't create a default position of guilt through sex. It doesn't split the female icon into the virgin and the whore. Religions are just stories that grow up around sensitives who have access to spiritual phenomena.
11:38:20 From Leo Jacoby to Everyone:
Religion speaks in mythic language, primarily expressed communally in ritual, and personally, in everyday encounters of the extraordinary in the ordinary (awe). As children we are concrete learners and appropriate any religious tradition first, in literal terms, not relational terms--so essential for the heart of religion. Through academic study, life experiences and reflection we appropriate religious traditions differently. (Or not. I suppose some adults don't give religion a second look, and stay stuck in their child's experience.)
11:38:43 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
As you know Shannon, as a canadian, there is the fact that 10,000+ gravesites have been identified on the grounds of church run “schools”
Globally, missionaries and GOD fearing conformists have got 100’s and 100’s years of blood on their hands; that they slap upon the face of youth.
11:39:25 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
Kathry, I would have watched them, I was just busy. I think integrating both polarities in oneself is healthy, but you still need to be rooted in your bodily gender. Because there is no reproductive capacity in a biologically engineered gender.
11:40:36 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
The education system is colonially rooted
11:40:42 From Mary Thorp_WV to Everyone:
This is so much fun & reflective to listen to. I’m especially interested in hearing you say we were never sat down to learn tools to interact with each other. I am divorced from the 4 sisters I grew up with. I had to learn all the tools to interact with others.
Guess my parents were more indoctrinated. I stopped ubruptly going to church when I went to college & had a choice.
11:41:22 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Oh, Kevin, the “God” inside is not the one that religions have created. Those religions have formed our societies. Life/God created humans and humans created religion.
11:41:25 From Sarita Patel to Everyone:
Leaving the church is like leaving the matrix.
11:43:21 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Joran, It seems like there is a lot of very different understanding in what you say, from how I understood what they shared. Given that we are WAY too many humans, I also think that there is lots of room to not be reproductive. I don’t have that concern, either.
11:44:24 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Marlene’s insight that self trust is key is brilliant. I’ve talked with some fundamentals who cling to that - they have a real fear of trusting themselves…
11:44:49 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
Shannon, religions have created education and work to root religion as the answer; simply by the creation of the curriculum, the truth is buried.
11:45:04 From Charry Stover to Everyone:
Yes, Original Blessing rather than Original Sin.
11:45:36 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Kevin, we agree. I’m not surprised. ;)
11:47:25 From Dr Maura Conlon to Everyone:
Such awakenings so beautiful
11:47:50 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
I'm not talking about reproduction from a Christian perspective or anything. But large numbers of people without natural bodies could potentially skew the perception of the whole race, weakening natural male-female polarity that is necessary broadly, not just for bearing children but in maintaining psychological and spiritual health.
11:50:37 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Joran, it seems you assume knowledge of what is intended for the species of humanity… what is “skewed” when the end result is not known? And what is to say that male/female is the only natural? There are more natural genders than that.
11:51:01 From Ingrid Collins to Everyone:
As a Consultant Psychologist and a Registered Spiritual Healer, I combine conscious-level conversation with healing energy work. The majority of my co-professionals perceive the awareness of spiritual phenomena as pathology, and consign Sensitives to psychiatric wards, dosed out of their brains.
11:52:07 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Thank you, Ingrid, for your presence in that field. Your pov makes a difference to your clients as well as your peers. Thank you.
11:52:18 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
What paths are shared with people who experience this guilt, that want to correct the hurt that their religion has had its hands in?
11:52:53 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
Shannon, yes, I may be assuming a spiritual perspective that emphasizes the duality of genders as pretty central to our existence. I think it is healthy to explore conventions of gender and expanding sexual identities, but I don't think the identiy of the body can be altered in any meaningful way.
11:53:10 From Kevin he/him Canada to Everyone:
How does someone present themselves to those hurt by the hands of god fearing men?
11:54:54 From Ingrid Collins to Everyone:
Thanks, Shannon.
11:55:28 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
Yes, Ingrid and Joran, opening up to wholeness is, for me both exciting and useful. It is often easier to limit understanding and dismiss experience that doesn’t fit. I guess the rule of thumb, for me, is the openness to joy or fear. If fear is the context then it’s limiting. Fear tells me it is not LIFE affirming.
11:57:33 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Kathryn, thank you. We are blessed by your clear wisdom. Great to have you here with us!
11:58:36 From Kathryn Alexander, MA (joined via macro.io-) to Everyone:
🥰
11:59:05 From Shawna Peters to Host and Panelists:
I’m in the support group, it’s great!
11:59:15 From Aida Merriweather to Everyone:
This is so helpful. Thank you. I have felt the challenge of my recent choice to leave the Episcopal church at age 77. It does involve way more reconstruction of my life that I imagined—even though my friends from church are supportive
11:59:43 From Shawna Peters to Host and Panelists:
We have people of all ages and you can try the group for free for a month.
12:00:21 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Aida, welcome to Humanity. May your Rising from their “box” be swift and easy.
12:00:44 From Aida Merriweather to Everyone:
Thank you, Shannon
12:01:02 From Dr Maura Conlon to Host and Panelists:

Dr Maura Conlon, I hope you don’t mind Stanley bringing your comment to Host and Panelists to the main chat - realizing that doctors and other professional organizations are their own “religions” is an important point. Scientists are like that too, I believe.

Every time my therapist says “Wow, you have such great skills in that” or “I really like what you did there”, I still feel shocked…

I so resent "the father giving away" the woman.
12:13:08 From Shannon McArthur to Everyone:
Shawna, what would happen if you told yourself how well you did/do?
12:13:40 From Sarah Priestley to Everyone:
I recently came across ‘ boarding school syndrome’… there are many similarities to what’s being described here. There’s a film ‘the making of them’ and ‘trauma abandonment and privilege’ for anyone who’s interested
12:13:56 From Ingrid Collins to Everyone:
I love this African legend: A beautiful little lion cub got lost before his eyes were open, and was adopted by a kind ewe, & so grew up in a flock of sheep. Eventually his mother found him. He bleated and was frieghtened of her. She lead him to a lake and asked him to see his own reflection. He reflected on his true being, and roared with the voice of the lion!

There is always the question of whether or not we really know what Jesus taught. My feeling is that it has pretty much been lost/warped.

Today, and this week has been so important. Doors opening, liberating, intriguing. Thank you so much!
12:21:21 From Jøran Solberg to Everyone:
I'm sure Jesus was a really great guy, if we could distinguish who he was from the religious writings made by contemporary people about him.

I think you get a double does if you are born female, “the downfall of all humanity”
12:22:31 From Sarita Patel to Everyone:
This is yet ANOTHER fabulous learning. Since I never went to church- but had many Christian friends in Chicago- seeing the long hold on religion was amazing. Now I understand the demise of my marriage to a devout Jesuit who lived in the BOX, the dream. Fascinating!

But I think there is such a thing as a Christ energy that plays a role in the destiny of the human race. There is some great truth hiding in the religious dogma.
