Hi Jan, Dianne Brause (from Lost Valley, years ago). So glad you are on Humanity Rising today! I just came from 3 hours of weeding in our garden at Sunpoint Farm and Sanctuary, which is a budding mini-ecovillage in Derry, NH. where I spend my summers recently. We would love to attract some community-minded people with skills in gardening, building, etc. (contact me at : dianne.brause@yahoo.com, if you are interested in talking! Blessings all!

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

Thank you Jan, I will.   My vision is to create a ecovillage in the historic center of the town I live in in Southern Italy.

Hi Dianne,  I'm visiting Cincinnati and I just joined Wwoof.  I will volunteer at an urban farm on Thursday.   I want to visit some farms like this before I head back to Italy.  Maybe we can connect too....abccpa@sbcglobal.net

I have lived in Costa Rica for 19 years without a car.  It has felt so good on many levels.  And, I figure I have saved approximately $120,000 hard dollars in addition to all the other MANY benefits.

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

It's gorgeous Jan!

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

just beautiful!   When I owned a home in CA, I took out the lawn and planted a fruit tree forest in the front and an organic vege garden out back with chickens....I lost it all in the economic downturn in 2009.  :(

Spokane, Washington has a strong neighborhood council system that is an advisory board for the city council.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

Gaia’s Plan for the Transformation of Humanity is Our Heart Gardens - AS WITHIN, SO WITHOUT - the Gardens we create within manifest around us, and we meet in ::https://ourheartgardens.com::

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

there is a lot to learn from other countries like Italy where people have lived close to the land for generations

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

Los Angeles USD, used to had Agriculture plots in all Secondary schools, most are now covered with Bungalows for a college bound focus… crazy. That’s the effect of Capitalism

As was mentioned, when we see the Future we are headed for, and keep it as a focus as we do with Peace IN Everything, Everything WITH Peace. :)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:13 PM)

people are hard to work with - we need to provide a listening ear, guidance and love through small circles empowered to take information to each other

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

remove ego

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

We need to work together to work together well.

Jane Norton to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Agree with Bob. I witnessed and experienced major personality conflicts in community groups that I was involved with. Quite frustrating!

Davidson to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Loving & Caring Neighbothoods is the antidote for tribal animosities we grapple with here in Africa. Would be glad to walk alongside panelist to actualize this noble cause  (elgon.peace@gmail.com)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

no, Alecia, imho, we need to learn how to honour the ego, and work with it. It is the vehicle we travel through life in.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

Right on Bob, Inclusive ~

Release the Separation Demon. Is this something that you think will work more in our advancing our new Society based on BEING Inclusive ~

Let’s bring inclusive words to life in our words. Inclusive pronouns and comments have something that exclusive pronouns don’t. Inclusive includes oneself, and “others.” We are all contained on one planet, and what “others” do or don’t do can dramatically affect us. So, when we use an inclusive affirmation it would sound like, “We are happy,” “We are Healthy,” “We are holy.” Or Inclusive Afformations®, “Why are we so happy, healthy, and holy?”

Suzanne Jones to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

Nonviolent Communication www.cnvc.org

Alecia Caine to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

I meant unhealthy ego, Shannon, I agree with you

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:15 PM)

Positive ~

SPREAD WHAT WE WANT. We get to focus on what we want. Like Mother Teresa would only go to a pro-Peace Rally - never an anti-war rally. We speak inside to ourselves, sometimes in a positive way and other times in a way that is degrading ourselves and/or others.  When we start to notice this talk becoming negative, we can simply say to ourselves, “Switch!” and rephrase the negative into a positive statement.

Me to All panelists and other attendees (12:15 PM)
