Happy Thursday Everyone!

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:05 AM)

Good morning Liliane, best of health to you and everyone here on Humanity Rising day 262

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:05 AM)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:06 AM)

Best wishes Liliane, Stan and all.

Me to All panelists and other attendees (11:08 AM)

So, now we have a new health question to ask, What will the recognition of UFOs do for the mental health of the populations around the world? Will this slow the rate of human on human violence?

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:09 AM)

Oh Lars...

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:18 AM)

Are these self care tools available only in Europe or abroad as well?

Thinking regulation-wise

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:23 AM)

What would happen if the masses were to know about this both for better health, AND cost effect for a country?

Leo Jacoby to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)

I believe an ethic of caring still informs medical professions in the digital age. What new images can supplant this traditional one?: This work of art was meant “to put on record the status of the doctor of our time” (The Times, March 17, 1891). ::https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doctor_(painting)::  What Sir Luke Fildes' 1887 painting The Doctor can teach us about the practice of medicine today:  ::https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2249807/::  Picasso painted something similar in 1897: ::https://www.pablo-ruiz-picasso.net/work-11.php::

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:25 AM)

Tak su mike Magareta

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Thank you Artur!

I wish we had other options beyond google, amazon, etc.

Johann François-Bongarçon to Panelists and Attendees (11:41 AM)

we do.

Leo Jacoby to Panelists and Attendees (11:42 AM)

Customer / patient : unpack the implications of these divergent terms

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:42 AM)

Johann, in Europe?

Johann François-Bongarçon to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

What if one wants to be alone, unconnected and heal naturally, far from big pharma’s supervision? Will one have that option after these changes have been made without humanity’s full consent? Could we maybe consider creating referendums, and ensure other ways of democratising the decision making process and the public spending process?

David Somekh to Panelists and Attendees (11:48 AM)

Johann, it used to be called democracy, but I agree, those principles are currently under threat, it seems to me

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

Agree

Johann François-Bongarçon to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

The human right to privacy?

A philosophy of person/community can inform humanistic medicine design and complement systems thinking.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Thank you Artur.

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:55 AM)

Yes, this is the case of "smart" playground...

I love your point of view and your opinions, Victoria. Thank you for sharing!

Artur Olesch to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)

Just to make it clear - there are medical grade health apps to assess skin health on the market - Margareta mentioned an example. Google aims to make it easier for customers to navigate through health-related problems. There is place for both solutions.

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)

Artur, I agree that there is room for both AND the moment the big giants enter a market, the competition and transparency fall away. In certain countries more than others.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)

aho, agile project management

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

we SHOULD be nervous.

imhoo

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (12:00 PM)

Great point Victoria.

I appreciate your digital expertise and  manner of delivery, David. Thank you for being here.

I love beautiful drawings…

Artur Olesch to Panelists and Attendees (12:10 PM)

There are a lot of myths regarding digital healthcare - this is not the solution to all problems. Here I described in which areas digital health won't help: ::https://aboutdigitalhealth.com/2021/03/16/myths-about-digital-health/::

Johann François-Bongarçon to Panelists and Attendees (12:17 PM)

Our technologies have devastated the animal kingdom, but we are thinking of trusting them with our health.

Artur Olesch to Panelists and Attendees (12:18 PM)

Great presentation, David! Thank you.

Liliane Mavridara to Panelists and Attendees (12:18 PM)

Thank you David!

David Wood to Panelists and Attendees (12:23 PM)

Jane - Your point about antibiotic resistance is very important. If we're not careful, we'll sleepwalk into a new kind of bacterial infection for which we have no suitable treatment

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:25 PM)

We continually “sleepwalk” into new bacterial infections - our Planet is ingenious in teaching us /helping us develop Our health.

we need to support real people in real places AS WELL AS virtual.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:27 PM)

but doctors (imho) need to get out from behind their own 4 walls - into the community, accessible to all.

Lars Münter to Panelists and Attendees (12:27 PM)

I agree completely David; and sleepwalking is indeed a good analogy - there’s (still) a strong need to embrace better/hygienical design in our daily lives. Why did we all have to go home / distance in response to COVID-19? Because our urban / transport / institutional design is not very safe in terms of reducing risk.

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:28 PM)

Please come to the AfterChat, if you can. There is so  much more to share and compare…!

Margareta Wallentén to Panelists and Attendees (12:29 PM)

The future is digi-physical, combined. Big and small together.

"Joseph William Bazalgette made probably the single biggest contribution to the health of Victorian Londoners."

Lars Münter to Panelists and Attendees (12:35 PM)

John Snow was of course not alone - Semmelweis and Nightingale are other great champions for hygiene in their time. Laying the basis for public health interventions we are still using today (literally….)

David Wood to Panelists and Attendees (12:38 PM)

For some excellent narrative about the positive impact of hygiene in healthcare I recommend the recent new book "Extra Life: A Short History of Living Longer" by Steven Johnson

A vaccine that anyone can take to cure humans inhumanity to others ~

To be fully effective, this gets to be done periodically through the day, until well practiced to work. Here’s an 15 minute video ~ PeaceMaker Meditation. ::https://youtu.be/vv1VxDv80wo::  Peace in Everything, Everything with Peace will reverberate throughout your day… making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and ‘others.’

On this Special Day, let’s start practicing this psycho-somatic-spiritual Meditation.

LOVE and helpfulness work wonders... When we “work it”…
