Text of the Zoom Chat from Humanity Rising Day 255

...

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (11:03 AM)

Hello from the woods of North Carolina.  From the Southern Poverty Law Center - According to Mapping Police Violence, 7,666 police officers killed someone in the U.S. between 2013 and 2019. Mapping Police Violence defines a police killing as “a case where a person dies as a result of being shot, beaten, restrained, intentionally hit by a police vehicle, pepper sprayed, tasered, or otherwise harmed by police officers, whether on-duty or off-duty.” Of the 7,666 cases, only 25 officers were convicted of a crime. In another 74 cases, the officers were charged with a crime but not convicted. In 99% of the cases, officers were not charged with any crime whatsoever.

Jim Garrison to Panelists and Attendees (11:08 AM)

Astonishing statistics. Thank you.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:09 AM)

Welcome All on such an important day of reckoning 🙏

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:12 AM)

Heartbreaking indeed. Feel to say - we're working on it!! World-wide - at last!! Thank you Cuf - you and Music and your guests - may you touch our souls indeed xxx

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:12 AM)

I grew up 15 blocks in Mpls from where George Floyd was murdered...

Kat Haber to Panelists and Attendees (11:12 AM)

Forgive us for we know not what we have done…

Dinesh N to Panelists and Attendees (11:13 AM)

Namaste from India. when my kids started driving in the US, I had to have a chat with them about the cops.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:14 AM)

Question: Do you have an inkling that the world tide in equality has hit a tipping point for the better in race relations?

Wow! You are amazing!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:20 AM)

And now - "Will anyone fight for me?" Yes, you have many many of us world-wide who are prepared to stand up and fight FOR you!!!

+1 Kat!! Forgive us, we know not what we do!!

Dinesh N to Panelists and Attendees (11:21 AM)

what role do you feel Trump and Trumpism played in all this? or it was just a latent issue that rose to the surface? what can we as individuals do?

Kat Haber to Panelists and Attendees (11:21 AM)

+1 H.E.R.

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:21 AM)

silence is complicity in violence

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:23 AM)

The Bigger Picture of 2020 and the world as we know it? We received two massive messages: - 1. We ignore Nature at our peril. And 2. Inequality (abuse towards our fellow man and planet) - on every level, has to end!!!

Dinesh N to Panelists and Attendees (11:27 AM)

this year my son was failed a class in his MBA program because his professor didn't like Asians. even the University ethics dept found issues with the professor and other students provided feedback on the class survey. but nothing has happened.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:28 AM)

What a vivid horror of a repeated act to black lives that matter!

Davidson to Panelists and Attendees (11:29 AM)

The Trump administration's systemic agenda to annihilate Blacks and Moslems was a scar on American history. Is it ironical that he wanted to MAKE AMERUCA AGAIN by obliterating the "other race".

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:32 AM)

Trump was merely a mirror of the long-enduring sickness in white supremacist America. It continues on.

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:33 AM)

My experience here in Minneapolis is that the protesters were predominantly nonviolent. We showed up to demand changes, with crowds that reflected the pale complexions of our region. My belief – along with some convictions and personal experience--is that the property destruction was intentionally incited for national political purposes.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:34 AM)

Mpls is holding the space for important

change

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:35 AM)

USA needs redemption, through reconciliation & reparations.

Davidson to Panelists and Attendees (11:36 AM)

So Trump was the voicing of white sypremacist underpinning of American society??

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:37 AM)

Davidson, he was elected into office & received 75M votes for remaining in leadership

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:38 AM)

Prejudice is taught, not born within every human being...

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:39 AM)

Davidson - yes! He gave permission to those who feel that way to show up publicly. That was both a gift and a horror. “We” were SO blind to the amount of fear, anger, and hatred that was under the surface.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:40 AM)

Amen. Sadly, we know the history of these atrocities. We’re singing to the choir. Let’s focus on Preventions, Focus on Systemic Change. What does that look like?

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:42 AM)

Even the Earth can’t breathe

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:43 AM)

Exactly, impunity!

Look at the incredible resources it took to convict Chauvin — and he still has the possibility of appeals.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:44 AM)

For sports people, this song resonates with its formation: “What’s Going On” Marvin Gaye. This podcast illuminated it a bit. ::https://www.espn.com/radio/play/_/id/31502571::

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:44 AM)

We ALL saw that too - the face of power that said, "I can do it to you Black Man" and THAT is why we will stand WITH you to push for change!!!

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (11:45 AM)

After acting ….veils removed. We have gotten to see how the game of power plays. We must dream a new opening that denies this game being played anywhere on the planet for everyone and hold it strong.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:46 AM)

Yes, Doreen. Time for a new game!!!

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:47 AM)

You can call Africa ‘undeveloped’ or you can call them more Earth centric. I prefer theater. We need to applaud Africa for still preserving their natural habitat. Africa is the last of it.

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

Here’s an example of African action ::https://www.ticahealth.org::  using indigenous wisdom for current well-being

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

whites fear relinquishing their power & privilege. especially in USA, fear enthralls more than love

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:49 AM)

Yes, Kathryn, See what, “The God’s Must Be Crazy” did expressing the Earth Centric beauty. :)

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

Loved that movie!

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:50 AM)

Yes Marilyn

KATHERINE AUGUSTINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

I am so grateful to this panel for sharing Truths today. Agree re: listening and shift in the paradigms. @Kathryn thank you for that understanding.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (11:51 AM)

Loved that movie, as well. Last week we had 12 mass shootings…

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

THE SPIRITUAL MEANING OF 2021’S FIRST ECLIPSE IS ABOUT TRANSFORMING YOUR MINDSET, headline of Elite Daily… let us be aware that we are going through changes, indeed, and we are supported in our emergence into brilliance.  Thank you all for your good  hearts and best efforts.

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

Speaking as a person of European ancestry,  I find that some pale people are afraid of the tables being turned, being “done to” as was done to “others.” So many think domination is the only option.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:52 AM)

Police should be trained to be PEACE OFFICERS! Follow the the motto: “Rules are made for the guidance of Wise people and the obedience of fools.” As Lord Bader once said.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

A paradigm shift towards UNITY - for all life. All of us working TOGETHER so that we all support LIFE. Only elect officials who work for Life - not those who work for profit. And yes, Kurt, the police need to be re-named PEACE OFFICERS. It would help them to work in a better direction!!

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Amy, that's projection of the inner shadow (individual & collective shadow)

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:53 AM)

Bowling for Columbine gave some solutions for the use and availability of weapons of death.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Yes...this insidious brutality of black men’s lives has bubbled up to the surface for All Humanity to change & correct, NOW!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

Why can't we just ban weapons?

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:54 AM)

thank you so much!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (11:55 AM)

And teach care and consideration?

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (11:55 AM)

That is where we need to go Carroy

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (11:56 AM)

so helpful to directly hear the black male perspective, especially to a predominantly white audience. thank you all, panelists!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (11:57 AM)

Question: Can Humanity grow through the Dark Archetype with support from the Unknown Angels?

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (11:58 AM)

Peace in everything. Everything with Peace. You could be a massive contributor with your hearty history to the Peace LAB. Participate in any branch or simply BE the force for Peace. OtherNetworks.org/Peace_LAB. Lot's of Love.

We'd love to have you collaborate with us in answering this query.

“What is the mystery of peace, that if we were to discover and embrace, our realization of it would be faster and easier."

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (11:58 AM)

Dehanna, yes imho, it is part of the path to wholeness.

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (11:59 AM)

When we look at your diagram ….look deeply where the Being can be moved to the back or if you shift your eyes you will see it as on top….connecting with

Greenwood

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:01 PM)

Black Wallstreet, right...

Amazing history

Juneteenth

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

you, Cuf, are a wealth of knowledge and resources

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

Yes, Tulsa has been hidden, even from life-long residents of Tulsa - we can hide anything. HOW do we fight the ‘need’ of some whites to ‘not see’ what they are dong? this is a white fight.

Davidson to Panelists and Attendees (12:02 PM)

@Kurt, that sums it all: PEACE IN EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING IN PEACE.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:04 PM)

Doreen - it can also be ‘moved’ to the front…

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:05 PM)

So true, Acceptance of Other that is different...

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

Yes, Kathryn…that is what I am trying to say….we have to aware of where we are standing

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

Doreen - yes!

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:07 PM)

Question: Is “Light” the answer for healing the wound

Shelley Sabo to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

I am reading Healing Collective Trauma: a process for integrating our intergenerational and cultural woulds by Thomas Hubl. “A willingness to go into the dark with a light is evolutionary work. It brings healing, clarity and integration”.

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:08 PM)

Thank you for helping me clarify this ….diagrams help us to see what needs to occur within

Shelley Sabo to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

  • wounds

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

There is rally no ‘other’ what we see is truly us and our resistance is our unwillingness to recognize pain, hurt, and rage we hold and so project.

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:09 PM)

Yes, the forces of quantum vibration

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:11 PM)

Yes, studying the Mayan culture now the Three of Life and the Feathered Serpent

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:14 PM)

Must reach to the “unmanifest potential” (woo Chi) b4 Energy steps down into duality

Yes, (the anti-matter),”dark energy” is definitely a place to start making relationship for change.

What inspiration for us to reach into our Souls for consciousness

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:18 PM)

Cuf, you must come back and tell us more, please!

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:19 PM)

Cuff - is there a one size fits all solution or are soul levels important to consider?

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:20 PM)

Incredible insight! Wow! please come back!

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (12:22 PM)

It’s also a threat to the current Powers That Be.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:23 PM)

Seeing self is a threat to a younger soul - how do we support them through that fear? There needs to be a cultural shift????

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:24 PM)

I do think that really understanding what Tony is saying is a path forward. So many white folks do not know/recognize that. compassion is a solution.

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:24 PM)

Trauma is a blanket covering the Black Community, sadly

And, the observers of this offense, as well

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (12:25 PM)

racism affects ALL -- the oppressors as well as the oppressed. The blanket covers all of humanity.

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:25 PM)

$20 counterfeit bill is a little thing that could have been handled differently.    Yes deep work is needed by all.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:25 PM)

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:26 PM)

Thanks Kurt!!!!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:30 PM)

a litany of disrespect. the shame of being part of a species that does this to members of its own can impede our ability to rise above it. I’m grateful for your humour.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:30 PM)

I always cringe when I hear, “We are too tired to tell our story” The only way whites will know this is if YOU tell your story. It is not as impactful when  retold by whites. Hearing this first-hand is what makes a difference.

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:30 PM)

PLEASE COME TO THE AFTERCHAT.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:31 PM)

GREAT panel!!! Thanks so much for your openness and honesty!!!

MEPI Kenya to Panelists and Attendees (12:32 PM)

The police world over are generally not friendly to the commonman. It is worse in most African countries (read Kenya). They terrorise civilians and try to incriminate in bid to get money from the 'victim'

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:33 PM)

thank you Stan. AfterChat should be rich!

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (12:33 PM)

Police/military are used as the henchmen of the empire

COME TO THE AFTERCHAT!!!

Marilyn Schramm to Panelists and Attendees (12:36 PM)

call your legislators & urge support for H. R. 40, to establish a commission on reparations. the VERY LEAST we can do as a society is to recognize the wound & start addressing/discussing a way to heal it.

Kathryn Alexander, MA to Panelists and Attendees (12:37 PM)

EARTH will no allow it to continue. The EARTH is engaged in the same struggle.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:37 PM)

Living in the UK (and particularly in a very diverse London) I'm glad to say that I witness the JOY of people of all races, creeds and cultures working together! Luckily we also have few weapons and many people who are working to grow together - grow communities, grow food, grow culture - just grow better. Transition Towns and What If...…. situations - inspiring!! Supposedly we will have Citizens Assemblies soon - as you are saying Mr Kamara - the people want change!!

Yes!! Time for a New Society!!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:39 PM)

Thanks for the good news, Diane. Heartening!

Dark is fecund, fertile, nurturing, restful

MEPI Kenya to Panelists and Attendees (12:40 PM)

Opportunity rides on the back of adversity; Opportunity never comes; now is the TIME to address this systemic problem and overhaul the social psyche that is negatively disposed towards "the other".

Doreen Tanenbaum to Panelists and Attendees (12:40 PM)

Dark …Divine void

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:40 PM)

We need some dark so as to sit it next to light and make a whole!!

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:41 PM)

Darkness defines the shape of Light

AMY A BLUMENSHINE to Panelists and Attendees (12:41 PM)

Diane, your London reminds me of the feel of the assembly when Obama addressed it after clinching the nomination — multi-racial jubilance, hope for our children!

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:42 PM)

And I thank goodness for that AMY!!! I have hope - and I offer it to share xxxxx

Dehanna Rice to Panelists and Attendees (12:42 PM)

Yes, the dark unknown precipice...we All need to take the leap!

Kurt Krueger, SuccessSystemsInternational.net to Panelists and Attendees (12:42 PM)

In my youth, I wanted to be darker - as my light skinned black brother, and he covered up when we went to the beach… Crazy commentary of the 60’s

MEPI Kenya to Panelists and Attendees (12:43 PM)

Sadly, the oppressed turn into the oppressor as is the case with Africans who took over large farms left by British colonialists in Kenya. They load over their fellow citizens

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:43 PM)

(To be honest, we also have Boris and some troubled issues - life is not perfect, but...…. for me (and some others) - I live in Heaven. I insist hahaha)

Shannon McArthur to Panelists and Attendees (12:43 PM)

Davidson, that is the challenge of the change that we need.

Diane Skidmore to Panelists and Attendees (12:45 PM)

You are thriving in the future. Everyone experiences Peace in Everything and Everything with Peace.

You are the last elder alive who ever experienced anything other than peace, “How did we get to have Peace in Everything and Everything with Peace?”

What is the answer given?

The more the detail, in as many areas of living, provides the path forward from these primitive times.

See OtherNetworks.org?Peace_Lab for possibly adding your contribution for the future of a thriving life.

Here’s a 8 minute video on a PeaceMaker Meditation handout. Groups are forming together or through teleconference to bring more Peace to the Planet. Here's a Meditation practice that can greatly help. ::https://youtu.be/noUBgVogMw4::.  Peace in Everything, Everything with Peace will reverberate throughout your day… making it the focus and bringing more peace to you and ‘others.’
