Carol Boye
Carol Boye’s engineering career at IBM spanned 44 years. Her most recent position starting in 2004 was at IBM’s Research and Development facility on the SUNY campus in Albany, NY where she worked on nanotechnology for future semiconductor devices for the purpose of artificial intelligence, for which she holds two US patents and co-authored several papers. In 2019 Carol served as the Conference Chair for the Albany Nanotechnology Symposium “Materials and Processing Innovation for Future AI Applications”. While the disciplined approach of science and engineering was the focus of her career, Carol has also been on a lifelong journey of transformation and psychospiritual growth. This dual nature is evident in her educational history. She holds an AS in Chemical Engineering, a BS in Chemistry, a MA in Transpersonal Psychology, and a PhD in Wisdom Studies. Carol is a member of several organizations where the intersection of science and spirituality is investigated - IONS (Institute of Noetic Sciences), RSF (Resonance Science Foundation) and IRAS (Institute on Religion in an Age of Science).
